Ashton
I knew I had to make this date perfect, just like the first one. I called Luke and Michael, so they can tell me what I need to do. I went to the store, bought everything I'll need, came back to Calum's apartment, and started decorating the kitchen table. I decided that I would make something small, but yet fulfilling for dinner tonight. I don't know what the hell I would've done if I didn't know how to cook, that's one of the few things that I actually let my mom teach me.
Calum was taking a very needed nap, so I had to work fast. After I finished decorating the table, I quickly started cooking the food, I decided to make shrimp Alfredo, since its really easy and quick to make.
I took a quick shower and dressed quickly in some black skinny jeans and this black dress shirt that Luke gave me to wear. My hair was growing out quickly, so I just ruffled it up and hoped it looked good. And lastly, I took my contact lenses out and put my glasses on.
I hardly ever wore my glasses in front of everyone, not even in front of Luke and Michael. They make me look nerdy and not like the intimidating guy that I usually look like. So doing this with Calum is going to be nerve-wrecking.I finished getting dressed and putting cologne on, then walked out to start making he food. I boiled the noodles, made the sauce, cooked the shrimp, and then mixed it all in one big pan.
I could hear footsteps, meaning Calum woke up. I made sure everything was in place when he walked in the kitchen.
When Calum stepped into the kitchen, rubbing his eyes tiredly, he looked around and gasped in surprise. He looked at the table and then at me.
"Wow, Ashton, I'm...I'm impressed, shocked actually." He said.
I chuckled and smiled. "I told you I could do it." He said. "Ready to dig in to this food?" I asked.
"Oh umm, I'm not dressed in the right clothes." He said, looking down at his long sweater and boxers.
"You look beautiful. Come on, come sit down, before the food gets cold." I said, putting my hand on his lower back and leading him over to the table. I pulled the chair out for him and watched as he sat down, eyeing the food and decorations.
"This is all lovely, Ashton, but you didn't have to do this, I'm nothing special."
"You are special, Calum, you just don't see the things that I see." I said softly. "Try the food, I worked hard on it."
He lift his fork and took a small bite of the food, chewing slowly. "Wow, Ash, this is really good! Now I'm definitely impressed." He said.
"Y-You called me Ash?" I asked, really surprised.
"Yeah, I did. Should I not call you that?" He asked.
"Oh no, please, continue to call me that, it sounds sexy when you say it." I smirked.
He blushed and continued to eat his food quietly. I ate my food as well, but I was more focused on the boy in front of me, looking like the angel that he is. His hair, his eyes, his skin, his lips, just everything about him drives me crazy.
"Do you like me, Calum?" I said suddenly.
Calum froze and looked up at me, Alfredo sauce on his chin.
"Yeah, I like you, I wouldn't have kissed you if I didn't?" He asked.
I nodded. "I like you too, I like you a lot." I smiled.
He blushed and continued eating. "I know, you make it clear that you do." He smiled, sipping the wine that was in a wine glass.
I laughed. "I guess I wanna make it perfectly clear." I said, sipping the wine. Suddenly, I got up and pulled my phone out of my pocket, putting on a slow song. I look over at Calum and hold my hand out.
"Dance with me." I simply said.
He bit his lip and looked away. "I can't dance." He said.
I chuckled. "It's just slow dancing, anyone can slow dance." I said, slowly taking his hand and pulling him up. I kissed his hand and pulled him closer to me.
"Just put your arms around my neck and just sway back and forth to the music." I said, putting my hands on his hips. "It's just me and you, beautiful, nobody else is around." I whispered.
He nodded and looked down at his feet, making sure he didn't step on my feet. I used my hand to lift his chin up.
"Just focus on me, beautiful, don't worry stepping on my feet." I smiled, putting my hand back on his hip.
It was quiet then, only the slow songs playing in the background.
"I like your glasses, by the way, are they real?" He asked quietly.
I chuckled. "Yes, they're 100% real. I don't wear them very often, I only wear them when I'm at home. I mostly just wear my contact lenses." I said. "They make me feel like such a nerd and less intimidating."
"Well I like them, sometimes I wouldn't mind seeing the nerdy side of you." He smiled a little.
"Oh really?"
He nodded. "Mhm."
I smiled and pulled him closer. "I wouldn't mind you being mine." I whispered.
Calum blushed and looked down at his feet, then back up at me. "Are you asking me to be yours?" He asked.
I nodded, drawing patterns on his lower back with my fingers. "I am."
He bit his lip and stayed quiet for a moment, looking anywhere but at me.
"Calum?"
"Okay."
I furrowed my eyebrows, hoping that meant what I'm thinking it meant.
"What?"
"Okay, I'll be yours, but on one condition."
"Anything, beautiful."
He looked into my eyes, staring into them for what felt like a million years.
"Treat me better than the rest of them." He finally said.
I smiled and leaned in to peck his lips. "I treat you way better than them, even if it's the last thing I do." I said. "I'm gonna treat you like gold, beautiful." I whispered.
He blushed and nodded. "Okay."
And with that, I continued to kiss him and slow dance with him until the music playlist ended.
Right now, I was the happiest man in the world and never can bring me down from this.
