Miraculously, Chloe managed to survive that emotional day. But still has not seen her father since their argument.
Today at school she was hoping that her temper wouldn't get the best of her. She wanted to make amends. It wasn't going to be easy.
She wore her usual outfit like everyday. She prepared for another day at school.
There was a gentle knock on the door.
She rushed to the door and opened it to see her father.
He was about to speak, but a loud honking noise came from the outside.
"Bye daddy! I got to go to school!" She said hugging him, running to the elevator.
'That was.. mean. But he deserves it!'
She entered the limo as the driver sped off to school.
She sat there in silence.
She was thinking about her mother.
The thought of her made her blood boil.
At school...
"I never thought in a million years that Chloe, Chloe Bourgeois, would say thank you." Alya said.
"It's true! I think she's changed!" An excited Marinette said.
"Let's just hope it lasts." Alya said.
"Look there she is!" Nino said.
Chloe shashayed to her ginger 'friend' Sabrina Raincomprix.
She took the homework that the ginger completed overnight as she suddenly snapped her head staring at Marinette and Alya.
"What are you looking at?" She hissed.
Nino and Adrien walk up to her to start up a conversation.
"Hi Chloe! Are you comming to hang out with us in the park today?" Nino asked.
"Yeah you said you would Chloe, at the bakery remember?" Marinette said.
"As if. I wouldn't want to hang with you lose-" Chloe simply stated.
Her head started to pound, as many things from the past kept on playing in her head.
Unhappy words.
'Your WORTHLESS you know that kid??'
Stop!
'Your father HATES you too'
*snickering*
Why now??
'You'll NEVER have a friend by your side.'
'You'll NEVER have a shoulder to cry on.'
'You'll ALWAYS be alone. Don't you forget that.'
Leave me alone!
'And I will ALWAYS hate you.'
"STOP!" Chloe screamed.
Everyone was staring at her as she covered her mouth. She took a deep breath.
She whispered to Sabrina as sabrina quickly dig into her pockets and handed her a strip of paper. She wrote something onto it and handed it to Adrien.
She speedily walked up the stairs as people could hear a loud slam.
Adrien walked to the group, (Marinette, Alya, and Nino) and read the paper aloud:
