That was it. That was all it took.

"Her mother." The student spat.

Adrien's blood boils. Nobody had that right to do something like that. No one. Nobody should have to go through the pain, the grief, and the suffering from losing a loved one. He knows this because he lost someone dear to him.

Marinette was disgusted. She was beyond in disbelif. This was going too far, way to far. This was repulsive, it made her want to gag.

And Chloe.

She was completely frozen, the air in her lungs seemed to leave her body as the air around her was freezing all of a sudden. The only thing that was warm?

The warm touch of Adrien's hand. He was still holding onto her hand. The grip got tighter and tighter.

The waterworks were in motion.

She stood there and let the tears flow. No sounds, just nothing.

But the comments did not stop.

"Well thats new."

Used.

"Oh, oh my goodness! The mayor's daughter is crying! Are you gonna tell your mom about it?"

Anger.

Tears.

Disgust.

"Wait, you cant! Why? Well, why don't you tell us where you mom is?" They snickerd.

Ignite.

Alone.

Betrayal.

Untrustworthy.

"What? Cat got your tongue? Or did reality finally bite you in the ass?"

Release.

Anger.

"What the hell is wrong with you?!" Nino yelled.

Alya was shaking.

"STOP! ALL OF YOU KNOW NOTHING ABOUT HER. NOTHING! H-HOW DARE YOU?! YOU- YOU HEARTLESS-"

Chloe bursts through the door and runs out the classroom bawling her eyes out.

Marinette and Alya soon run after her, calling her name as the door shut.

Adrien clenched his fist.

After Adrien was free from Chloe's grasp he said something, something that this group would never forget:

"CONGRATULATIONS! Congrats to you all for winning the award for best assholes of the century! What do you have to say for yourselves? You dont say that to someone, you don't have the right to. You disgust me.Your the true bullies."

Adrien bolted out the door.

Chloe broke through the door to the girls bathroom as she slammed open a stall and locked herself immidiatly inside. She brought her knees up to her face, burying her smeared face so the others wouldn't find her.

Her purse jerked as she ignored it.

She didn't know it would go this far. Not at all! But it had. This was the ultimate insult. The ultimate blow, the ultimate uppercut! She was in disbelif and disgust. She never liked when the topic of her mother was brought up, or Adrien's. His mother ment alot to her. She was like the mother she never had.

A mother.

A mother that was always by her side. Even when she was sick. She promised to protect and look after him. But she failed. She failed Adrien. She failed her. She failed. Miserably. She crumbled. It killed her inside. She not only failed Adrien's mother, but her own.

She sulked. She wept. She sobbed. Black mascara was running down her cheeks. Her periwinkle eyeshadow was smeared all over her cheeks and forehead. She then felt a wave of denial.

They're right!

Who would want to be- to be-

The door creaked.

Not the stall door but the entrance door.

She froze.

She held in her breath.

"Chloe, we know your in here.." A voice said.

Marinette.

"We're not leaving here until you come out!"

Alya.

"Where is she? I need to see her!"

Adrien.

"I can't belive we're going inside the girls bathroom.."

😑

Nino.

One by one, stalls were cleared out by the four students. Until one remained, the one that was locked.

"This is it!" Nino cheered.

"Come on Chloe, please come on out." Marinette asked.

She was trapped.

What did she have to lose?

Her respect.

Maybe her dignity?

Maybe her life?

Without even realizing, her hand was on the lock, as she heard the click noise made by the lock.

The door was open.

Crap.

She was now exposed. She prepared for the worst as she closed her eyes.

She felt a strong force wrap their arms around her very tightly.

An embrace. A strong one.

Her eyes flutter open, shocked to see Adrien out of all the three bestowed upon her, he was the one to hug her.

She couldn't hear. Her vision clouded.

He then stared at her. His eyes were on the verge of a pinkish colour.

He was crying.

She moved him off of her as she screamed:

"What are you doing in here?! You should be hanging out with your friends! You should hate me, all of you! W-Why, w-w-"

"We're here for you." Alya started.

"WHY?!"

"Chloe, we don't like seeing you like this, i-I can't comprehend what's going through your mind but all im trying to say- what we're trying to say is we care about you." Marinette said.

Chloe's eyes widen.

Adrien touched her shoulders.

"Don't beat yourself up for this, those dudes were so disgusting towards you. Don't let it get into your head." Nino said. He got a glare from Alya as smiled.

"Why are you all so nice to me? After all I've said, after all I've done-"

"Forgiveness Chloe. Forgiveness."

Adrien pulled her in for a hug, along with the others joining.

"We all forgive you."
