Flour. eggs. sugar, fat. 4 simple ingredients, and depending on the ratios, you can end up with a cake, cookies, bread, croissants, pancakes, sourdough, pasta. Add in a few more, you can have pie, danishes, pudding, or Meatloaf. Your hands are magical. Maybe you can't create baked goods, or write words in a rhythm, or enchant the world with a single line. But your hands are amazing, and everyone, no matter how small, has the power to create.
I make food, I attempt at poetry and writing. I couldn't draw to save my life, and I am aware of that. I cannot create beautiful images with my hands. But others can, and they might not be able to cook. They might not be able to transport you to a whimsical land within a few short sentences. And that is the beauty of what we are. We all have the power to create within us. I truly believe that is something universal to all humans. We create.

I am sorry for another weird type of post in this, but at least this one isn't angry. I just have been missing baking, and I have like 400 recipes I want to try that I have found. Tomorrow I have a day off, so I am going to bake myself a magic cake.
