I stared at him with a blank expression on my face. How the fudge nugget did he find out. The heavens above must despise me.

"O MY GAWD, YOUR FACE!"  Kelen burst out laughing.

Confused I whacked the side of his head literally trying to knock some sense into him.

"Ow. What was that for?" He pouted.

"Why'd you call me a nerd?"

"It was a joke. Lighten up a little Steph." He gave me a little smirk then pulled up to the gate of his house.

We drove up to the place where I'm almost positive is where they hide the giants from the beanstalk.

"Let me." He said taking my bags out of my hand and carrying them into the house.

"Oh so you're trying to be a gentleman now?" I raised my eyebrow at him but he just rolled his eye.

As we walked into the house my mouth dropped at the sight I saw. There was a little boy running nude after a drenched dog...

"JIMMY I SWEAR TO GOD IF YOU DON'T GET IN THE BATH RIGHT NOW I WILL STRANGLE YOU!" Kelen yelled as he walked into the house.

The little boy started giggling while he took of running to what I assumed to be a bathroom. "Sorry about that." Kelen muttered. I just nodded worried if I said anything I would burst out laughing.

"I'll show you to your room." I followed him as he led me up two flights of stairs and down a long hallway to a door that was painted yellow.  "Your room misère." He said in a horrible British accent, I might add. I open the door and my eyes widened at how big it was. There was velvet everywhere, from the curtains to the pillowcases. the floor was all marble except for the peach circular rug underneath the bed.

"Alright come downstairs whenever you feel for supper." He said while leaving.

This is definitely a step up from that trash I called a home.

I got dressed into skinny jeans and a hoodie and went downstairs to find Kelen and the little boy in a heated argument about what to eat for supper.

"Bacon is too a good main dish!" The little boy, Jimmy, argued.

"Bacon won't fill you up!" Kelen shot back.

"Exactly room for dessert!" The kid had a point there.

Kelen sighed in defeat and got up to probable make the bacon.

"Hello there." The little boy gave me a cheeky smile.

"Awe, aren't you just the cutest thing." I said pinching his cheek.

"Don't let him fool you, he's secretly the devil." Kelen stated and Jimmy glared at him.

"I'm sure you're a gentleman." I smiled at Jimmy and he smiled back.

"Ya!" He stuck his tongue out at Kelen.

"Bacons ready." Kelen pronounced.

"YAY!!!" Jimmy ran to the kitchen with me trailing behind him.

"I never knew you had a brother." I told Kelen.

He gulped, "I don't." He said avoiding eye contact.

"Kelen works for my parents." Jimmy giggled.

"What do you do?" I asked Kelen.

"He babysits me while my parents go on business trips. They're gone a lot so Kelen practically lives here. My daddy says Kelen was homeless so daddy was doing him a favor." Jimmy answered for him.

"That's enough you little brat." Kelen glared at Jimmy who was now devouring some bacon. He looked up at me then diverted his eyes back to the ground.

"Kelen it's okay..." I whispered to him.

"I'm not hungry anymore." He simply said and ran upstairs.

And here I thought Kelen was some rich kid that got whatever he wanted. He was definitely hiding a lot of secrets... This was going to be an interesting stay.
