Chapter 17

When morning came I was the first to wake.  I stretched my legs and felt nice and warm. I looked up and Michael started to stir. He opened his eyes, saw me looking at him, smiled and said, “Good morning.”

            I smiled back, “Good morning.”

I nearly jumped out of my skin when I heard a shout, “Hah!” Ashley was staring at the both of us, “I knew it!”

            I asked, “Knew what?”

She looked smug, “That you two like each other.”

Courtney lifted her head, “Well no dip Sherlock, they slept right next to each other.”

I challenged Ashley, “Oh come on. If you were lying next to Dean Winchester all night you can’t tell me you wouldn’t snuggle with him.”

A dreamy look crossed her face, “Ah, that is one hunk of a man.”

Courtney warned her, “Careful Ashley, don’t want to put yourself on over load.”

She denied it, “It isn’t over load. One time I had a dream where he came over to my house and we watched movies! After the movie we played games and we snuggled on the couch. We watched some more movies and oh we snuggled some more! He is so warm! Oh goodness and when we feel asleep he took his shirt off and oh god that man is a very yummy man!”

I laughed, “Ashley I think you watch too much Supernatural.

She shook her head, “There could never be too much. I watched one whole season on the weekend.”

Courtney nodded, “Yup, too much Supernatural. They should make a support group for this kind of thing.”

Ashley sighed and plopped face first into her pillow. Chuckling I put my head back down onto Michael’s shoulder, enjoying the warmth from him.

I snuggled my head and heard him chuckle himself.  I heard the kids stir and knew I’d have to get up. Bringing my head back up I saw Jenn’s head come up first, “We going outside today?”

Looking at the window it was hard to tell with the sphere lights on.  Getting up I turned them off and said, “Retract.” Walking over to the window quite a bit of light was shining through.

Opening the blinds it was the same that it had been yesterday. I turned around and clapped my hands, “Looks like we’re going outside today!”

Aaron, Josh, and Jenn ran off to get changed. Grabbing another pair of jeans and green t-shirt I went to the bathroom with Courtney and Ashley to change.

We came back to the room and saw that the boys were matching yet again in blue jeans and blue shirts. Jenn had on her faded red jacket and blue jeans, while Michael had blue jeans like everyone else and a green shirt.

Courtney walked up to them, “Do you guys always have to match?”

Josh and Aaron looked at each other, then back at her and answered at the same time, “Yep.”

She blinked a few times and left it alone.

It was Ashley’s turn to walk up to them, “You guys ready to go outside?”
