Chapter 2

Jason's p.o.v

After Leo's little speech we all went into the mess hall to discuss stadegy. We were all in their except Leo, Hazel, and Annabeth. Jason didnt know what to think of annabeth and percy.

The moment they came back onto the Argo, they went to there rooms, percy came back outside. But annabeth stayed back, even though they had gone through the scariest place on earth. They looked really skinny, they had bags under there eyes, and their eyes , they tried to look happy, but Jason could se that in their eyes was some sort of sadness.

He wouldn't expect anything else than that, I mean they did go down there, he couldn't even say the word. It seemed to dark to even say. Percy, seemed really down, but he at least tried to act happy, he actually laughed and talked to us without drifting off into space.

Annabeth, was a totally different story. She rarely even talked, she only ate because percy would glare at her. And she would stay in her room and not talk to anyone except percy. I admired her so much. I mean she went on a solo quest to go through tests ( which she obviously passed) she also fought her greatest fear and won against her. She retrieved the statue that she fought so hard for. But then she had fallen straight into Tartarus with percy. And had found her way back into the mortal world.

We all were seated, and discussing how many days we had left to get to Athens, when Percy looked at all of us and said " it's time" we all looked at each other clearly confused. " time for what" piper asked. " time for us to tell you are journey" we all looked at each other then nodded. We all turned to look at Annabeth, who was staring off into space. Percy then grabbed her hand and told her it was time to tell us their journey. When he said that Annabeth looked at us then nodded. Percy then started telling us their story with annabeth intercepting, if necessary.

They told us about the river they fell into,drinking fire from another river, the attack from Arachne, the espousa attack, bob the Titan, how annabeth had thought of the idea of burning the paper and sending it to Conner Stoll, Damesan the giant, the mansion of Nyx, the fight against Tartarus and how they escaped because of a giant and a Titan helped them.

By the time they were done it was night time already, I had my mouth wide open, from hearing this dreadful story. I saw the other members also did, all of us had tears in our eyes. If it was someone else that had fallen into Tartarus instead of Annabeth and percy, there would have been no way we would have survived.

Finally Frank spoke up, " wow that's amazing, you two are the most powerful and brave demigods ever." Percy and Annabeth just stared at the table, probably thinking about that place when suddenly Hazel said "annabeth your a genius the line of the prophecy did come true, foes bare arms to the doors of death." I also thought it would be Roman and Greeks closing them together. " she hesitated " but no it was a Titan, a giant, and demigods. The worst enemies fighting together to close the doors."

Annabeth nodded " the idea came to me when we were leaving Damesan's cave." Jason looked at the rest of the crew and saw sadness in their eyes, probably from the story or from the upcoming war. " well at least we know one of the lines of the prophecy had been completed." Leo said apparently trying to find a positive, way to see this.

Suddenly the alarms sounded." Leo what's going on?" I asked . I have no idea Jason, but we will find out soon enough. Leo left to see what it was, we just started getting ready for battle in case that's what we needed. When Leo came back he had a scared with a little bit worried expression on his face. " we have a visitor" he told us. " who is it" percy asked clearly concerned. Leo looked at percy with a terrified expression. " a god" he stated.
