31 - WTF

Zayn's POV

Niall and I had slept on the couch that night.

I made sure to have soup for him, but I'm not really a good cook, so lucky for me, Harry came over with Louis to make potato leak soup.

Niall was relucrant to eat, but somehow managed to finish the bowl.

It was about 6am, and Niall was sleeping peacefully on my chest.

His face a little flushed, probably from being sick.

BANG, BANG, BANG, BANG!

I furrowed my brows at the pounding on the door.

Who the hell would be here at this time. Niall slightly stirred in his sleep, so I gently moved him in order to get up.

BANG, BANG, BANG, BA-

"ALRIGHT!" I growled, stomping to the door.

"Pattie, Jeremy?" I widened my eyes once the door was open.

Justin's mum and dad stood before me.

I'll admit the two scared the shit out of me, I mean, they're Justin's parents... and they hate me.

Not even kidding. They h.a.t.e me.

"When were you planning on telling us Justin was in a MENTAL WARD!?" Pattie screeched, purely pissed.

"I didn't think to-"

"What? We're still his parents, you idiot!" Pattie growled, shoving me into the flat and welcoming herself in.

"Keep it down, please-"

"I don't care what time it is, Zayn. You had no bloody right!" Pattie poked my chest.

I glanced to the couch, surprised to see that Niall was no longer there.

Where'd he go?

"I thought you said he would be fine with you and Niall? And you send him some where he'd be all alone, and scared! are you fucking crazy!?" Pattie spat.

Normal people only see the sweet side of Pattie, but me? I've only seen her sweet side twice and her pissed side was more common, once she found out Justin was dating Niall and I...

but she somewhat had a soft spot for Niall.

She still liked him.

Bitch.

No offence, Pattie.

"Listen, I only sent him there because I didn't know what to do-"

"Shut up! You are so irresponsible! And to think I was nice to you!" Pattie growled.

I scoffed, nice my ass.

She once tried to beat me with a meat pounder.

Not even kidding. I told her I loved Justin, and so did Niall and she just picked it up swearing and chasing me around her kitchen.

Jeremy had to step in because she went nuts.

"Don't you scoff at me, young man!" Pattie scolded me, "I want you to get your ass down there, get my son back, and you bring him back to his real home with his mother, or so help me, I'll put you over my lap and-"

"Patricia." Jeremy stopped her, before she went off even more, "Zayn, I expect my son out if the asylum by tomorrow, and for him to be at our house. I forbid both you and Niall-"

"Niall's allowed, just not him!" Pattie pointed, giving me a glare.

Told you. Such a bloody Niall girl, I swear

Its probably because Niall's Irish.

"As I was saying, if he's not there by tomorrow, I will personally ring your neck. Understood?" Jeremy said strictly.

I gulped.

"But-"

"Don't you 'but' me. You pray that he's there by tomorrow, or so help me... I'm not kidding." Jeremy glared at me, grabbing Pattie's hand and walking out of the flat.

Pattie managed to send me a look that told me, 'watch your back, bitch'.

She's insane, I swear.

I slumped on the couch, trying to breathe calmly.

"Zee?" Niall walked into the room, falling onto my lap.

"Where'd you go?" I asked, rubbing my eyes.

"I ran into the spare room, and hid with Lou and Haz." Niall blushed.

"They like you, they hate me." I muttered.

"Not true, once Jeremy tried to punch me because I gave Justin a hug in front of him." Niall chuckled.

"Whatever, Pattie still loves you. They both hate me really badly... but Pattie has this soft spot for you." I ran my fingers through Niall's hair.

"Don't worry..." Niall yawned.

"How can I not? I can't take Justin out of that place yet. He's only just improved. I don't want him to fall down. They don't get it." I groaned. 

"I don't know... we'll figure out something." Niall smiled and sat up, kissing my chest before wrapping his arms around me.

I sighed, closing my eyes.

Pattie, you're evil.

I know you are.
