It was quiet - too quiet. It was also dark, until there was faint light seen further on.

Bollocks, Was all Zeke could think as he walked towards the glowing light. And as his feet pushed him further, he'd realized he was in a tunnel.

The closer and closer he got to the light, the smaller and smaller the tunnel had become.

Something was leading him towards it - call it fate if you must, but then there was something nagging for him to stop.

A voice, a sobbing, begging, pleading voice. One that would break someone just by listening to it.

So Zeke stopped, and he listened, focusing of the voice.

It was familiar.

"Please, please, pl-please, don't go. God, please don't leave. Stay, don't leave, stay."

Zeke frowned. It wasn't Jason's voice, but it was a voice he'd grown up with.

He knew it belonged to Jake, his older brother. And he wasn't used to his brothers pleads, and sobs.

Zeke, quite frankly, wanted to go to the light, because he strongly believes that if he went there, then Jason would be there, waiting for him.

"Wake up, don't leave me. I'm so-so sorry, Z-Zeke, God, you're my baby brother, I can't do this without you. Please, I-I need you."

Jake's sobs were louder, wanting to draw his brother back.

Zeke sat down in that shrinking tunnel, glancing at the light, before looking the opposite way.

"I love you, I don't say this enough, but I love you, Zeke. You're my baby brother, you're my fucking baby brother. Just come back, please, let me look after you, God let me protect yo-Fuck, just let me care for you. We need you, Fucking, Jason-that fucking prick, God he needs you. He's on life support, Zeke. He can't breathe on his own, neither can you yet... you're so close to being in an induced coma, this is too much... I know how much you love the bastard, I do, I can see it unfortunately, but if you wake up, if you just come back, maybe he will too, maybe we won't have to deal with the after affects of death."

And Zeke listened, a smile playing on his lips, because Jason will be okay, he knows he will, even if he's on life support.

Zeke can hear everything now, the beeping of a machine, the pumping of an air supporter, to help him breathe.

And Zeke fought, he fought, because he needed to come back, he needed to live for his brother - but more importantly, he needed to live for Jason.

-

Meanwhile, a hallway away, Alex sat beside his brother's almost lifeless body, as all the machines and drips connected to him.

Alex's heart cringed at the sight of his brother, holding Jason's hand.

Alex wasn't one to cry - even a time like this.

He stared at Jason, looking at the sun burned skin, and the swollen lips and cheeks, and he sighed.

"I know who did this, Jase..." He said softly, "I've known this would happen... And while you're unconscious, I want to tell you."

Alex took a deep breath, glancing around the room.

"Jase, I'm so sorry.... I put you through this, god... Jason, it was a mistake, but I had to, I'm such a selfish monster... Jason..., Jase... I...

I did it, it was me, I put the explosives on the boat... I tried to kill you... I tried to kill you, he's come back..."

Author's Note;

This was a #Jeke chapter, because BOOM, I've come up with a sequel, that will not be as long as this one, but long enough.

So comment and add #Jeke if you want them to live, and yeah.... not many chapters guys but don't worry, a sequel is coming soon... ooh, and if you have a name suggestion for book 2, comment that as well!

Lots of love xx
