98 - One More Bad Thought

Justin's POV

I calmly sat on Zayn's bed, watching as Niall spoke on the phone to Perrie and Zayn stood beside him, a frown etched on his lips as he overheard the words discussed.

Perrie had called and gave us some news that I had no idea was coming, and it only added to the bad that's happened this passed few months.

Jake and Jason were in hospital, for some boat explosion. From what I was told just before, they were sailing out and something blew up, before they were stranded in the water, hanging on a piece of wood for over 28 hours, when a fishing boat spotted them as they both went unconscious.

Now they're both in ICU at the hospital.

I felt horrible being so far away from Perrie and all that, because I'm not able to comfort them at all as they go through such a horrid time.

Niall hung up the phone, turning to face Zayn and I, "Perrie said they're stable, Zeke's due to wake soon, but not much is known about Jason."

I sighed, standing up and running a hand through my hair, "Should we be there? I feel like we should-"

"Justin, Tricia's funeral is tomorrow." Niall frowned.

I instantly felt guilty, looking at Zayn, "I'm sorry."

Zayn shook his head, "No, its okay I get it." He assured, "A lot of crap has happened and its stressful to know where we should be."

I sighed and gave him a hug, burying my face in his neck. Zayn held me close and kissed my cheek, rubbing my back as we stood there.

The door opened slightly, and Zayn's dad popped his head in, "The girls and I are going to do some speeches tomorrow, I wanted to know of you'd be saying anything?"

Zayn nodded, "I will, but I'll make my speech at the end."

His father nodded, before exiting the room.

I looked up at Zayn and kissed him quickly, pulling away to look at Niall.

Niall smiled small, "Can we just sit down and relax for now?"

"Sounds like a good idea," Zayn nodded, "I need to hold you both and get lost in my thoughts." Zayn smiled lightly.

I apologize for my absence and lack in updating, but I'm back now and will upload whenever I can. I need to work on my other stories too, so if you're reading any of my other stories, it won't be too long until I have chapters posted :)

My birthday is on the eleventh of this month, and I'm turning eighteen so everything's a bit hectic.
