Thomas' P.O.V.

A couple days after my latest incident with the group of bullies, they decided to meet me again. I was standing at my locker, getting my books out when out of no where someone knocks them out of my hands.

I had an idea of who it could be, someone from Chad's group. Great. Just what I need. "Miss us?" Chad laughed, spitting in my face. I whimpered and turned my head away from him, knowing what he was gonna do next.

I saw him lift his fist up, chuckling. I stood there and then heard a small groan of pain and a thud coming from his direction. I looked over to see Chad was tackled by someone, don't know who though.

One of the people from Chad's group roughly pulled him off Chad. Chad angrily got up, staring and the guy with pure hate. "Oh, you made a big mistake." Chad growled, cracking his knuckles, but what happened next surprised me.

The guy smiled, "Really? I actually think you are the one who made the mistake, Chad. I mean, your reputation is driven by beating up defenseless students smaller then you, then you have a group that follows you around because you aren't able to do anything by yourself.

I think that's pretty sad, I mean, I could easily own you right now but I'm deciding not to because I don't want my reputation to have, 'Beating up a sad excuse of a human being' written on it. So if you'll let me go, I'll take myself to class." The guy from Chad's group let this strange guy go, confused.

There was now a crowd around us, just surprised by what he said. The guy flashed me a smile, "Thomas is it? I think I have my next class with you, come on." I nodded, making my way over to him. "Uh, thanks." I spoke once we were out of ear shot. "No problem." He smiled.

Once we reached the next class, which was Math, we walked in, sitting by each other. We pretty much talked the entire time, we immediately clicked. We both liked the same things, and did pretty much the same things, but I could tell he was hiding something.

Once the bell rang, we parted our ways and went to our next classes until the final bell rang we ended up meeting outside. "It's the middle of the school year, how long has that been going on?" Brandon asked, I shrugged, "Two years maybe?" I said, trying to figure it out.

"Oh.. I'm sorry I didn't do anything earlier." Brandon apologized, sadness coating his voice. I smiled, "Well, you're the first person to ever do anything, so I doubt anybody else would, so don't be sorry." He smiled, "Okay, I.. I have to, uhm, go home." He spoke, his smile faltering.

I looked at him weirdly, "What's wrong?" I asked as we walked. He stopped and looked at me, "My mom wanted me to get home soon.. so, I'll see you tomorrow at school, okay?" Slowly, I nodded. "See you." I spoke before we headed the opposite directions to go home.
