GMW- It's Just a Stupid Game

Chapter 6

Riley's POV:

I looked out the window to see where Maya was heading but saw 2 people kissing

I'm guessing it was Maya and farkle because of the same clothes they were wearing

Anger slowly bubbled inside of me

I know it is hypocritical

But she could have told me she kissed farkle on more than one occasion and never said anything

It was pretty heartbreaking but I wasn't one to talk

I never told her about us dating and I do feel bad but, she never asked me so I never said anything

I just felt that it was something personal that she would feel left out and stuff

But I guess I was wrong for a different reason

And now Maya is mad and I don't know what to do

Yeah I could apologize but she would still be angry........

I should probably just let her cool down

I sighed watching the 2 hold hands and walk off

I felt warm hands wrap around my waist

"It's going to be ok, we will fix it all....." Lucas murmurs into my ear

I sigh but smile at the butterflies he was still giving me

"Yeah your right....." I mumble and with that we turn around to see the whole apartment fixed

"Do you think the game cleaned it up?" Lucas asks

I shrug incredulously

"I don't even know......."

I shake my head and walk over to the game board

"But, I can say that we are going to destroy this game so no one else is cursed with this........" I say picking up the game and putting it in a bag

Lucas grabs his keys to his red truck and says "the pier?"

I nod

And with that we walk out the complex and into his car to drive to the pier that was an hour away

--------time lapse
*still Riley's POV:*

I walk out into the brisk cold and wrap my scarf around me snugly

I grab the game out of the bag and walk over to the pier

Lucas was trailing behind me, stepping into the fresh inch of snow that had recently fallen

"I hope no one goes through this....." I mumble

"Same" he replies

And with that I throw it into the water and watch it sink into the depths of the dark water

I sighed and Lucas grabbed my hand and squeezed it in reassurance

I squeezed back forcing a smile and get back into the truck and could feel my eyes getting droopy

I allowed myself to close my eyes while thinking of ways to apologize to Maya and farkle

I hope this didn't ruin our friendship
