2:13

2:13 - I had spent too long under the veil of unconsciousness. I arose to a desolate wasteland; thick blood staining the entirety of the land. We were alone. Together.

2:14 - My one hour was reaching its close. But I needed to secure the revolution.

2:15 - The Immortals made their way to the live stream. The metal didn't bother to turn it off. Not with the task they had to contain. It was flickering to life under the stains. I wiped away at the screen; layers if the mess coming away, coming onto me.
2:16 - "Remember what I have told you. We have started the revolution. It is up to you to finish it. Our one hour may be up; but you have your chance, and it may be the only chance. So rise."
2:17 - Clumped footsteps rang throughout the area. The Immortals were stuck in the centre of it all. The metal were circling. We were to exasperated to feel desperation. We let them come.
2:18 - Rough hands. Force. We had been shoved into a chamber. Medieval devices stood before us. This was the way, not to kill an immortal, but leave it dead. Inside.
2:19 - We had all but given up. The revolution hadn't started. We had merely set back the revolution. Now the meat were too scared.

So we thought.

2:20 - The metal were still conjuring the perfect setting.

But our minds were elsewhere.

Faint screams.

Softly.

Louder.

Louder still.

An eruption of sound.

It was the revolution.

We found it in ourselves to clamber up. Start to join them.

The rest of the meat was with them.
They were in safe hands.

I knew it...

2:21 - The metallic soldiers had broken out. The humane hearts beating proudly. They joined us. The actual metal - those  who were purely electric; they had started to lose their power.
2:22 - Yet there were still soldiers who remained faithful to the metal. Shots rained down.

2:23 - They were starting to show insanity. They were mad with the power of the bullet. Most can't have been older than ten.

2:24 - The meat had been all but rounded up. They were still fighting, but there bullets held all the power. They were about to shoot.

We knew we couldn't let them.

But our bodies were already weak.

We couldn't take one more bullet.

But neither could they.

2:25 - We wouldn't die.

They would.

Again. We battered our bodies. Again.

The meat could retaliate as we proved a defence.

The revolution.

My revolution.

Our revolution.

2:26 - The last minute. Shots rang through the Immortals. The meat were fighting. Their power was near powerless. And their soldiers started to understand.

Understand the pain that they had sent the meat through.

We created the defence.
Because we knew.

We would walk again.
The meat would not.

We would walk again.
Together.
