1:31 - All we had to do was run. Outrun them. And overthrow the power. And for me to battle my demons; create my meaning.
1:32 - My lungs were on the verge of collapsing. My immortality hadn't proven invincibility. But I still had to run. We had been running for mere minutes, yet our muscles hadn't had the strain in years, we were weak in the face of the metal.
I slowed in my running.
1:33 - Slowing. We all did. We had to. We had outrun the metal for now. What was needed was attention. So we slowed. We yelled; hollow screams echoing in a world of metal. Humans were forced to lurk in their past home; forever in the shadows.
1:34 - We needed the metal to see us. We needed the meat to uprise. No matter how much the metal could threaten us.We rallied.
