Previous Story/ Simon POV

"Oh right," Lydia said, "you must be the head of the Institute."

"Yes I am," Alec said, "and you have no right to talk to my girlfriend that way."

"Yes I do," Lydia replied.

"Savannah, Izzy, Alec can I talk to you guys for a second," I said.

"Sure," they said.

"OK so what'd you wanna talk about," Alec asked me.

I looked at him and said, "why is she here?"

"I don't know," he replied.

"What do you think she wants," Izzy asked.

"I don't know," Alec said once again.

"Wait a minute she's acting a lot like-," Savannah started to shout.

We all looked at her funny and then i said, "acting like who?"

"Valentine," she said.

Alec POV

"What do you mean she acts like Valentine," Izzy asked Savannah.

"What I mean by that is, Valentine hates downworlders right?"

Izzy looked at her and said, "yeah but, what does that have to do with Lydia?"

"She just got mad at me and Simon for no apparent reason," Savannah replied,

"Yeah that is a good point," I said, "Valentine hates downworlders?"

After that we went back and stood in front of Lydia. She didn't seem happy.

Savannah POV

When we walked back to Lydia she wasn't happy. But I didn't have time to ask her about it because she walked away. Then Alec and I walked back to his room and he kissed me. And right when the fun stuff was about to happen his mom walked in and gasped.

"Alec I need to talk to you," Maryse said. And with that she walked out.

I looked at him and said, "parents. They always ruin everything."

He laughed and said, "yes. Yes they do."

Alec POV

Savannah and I walked to the room where my mom and dad were. When we got there Lydia was standing in the middle of the room.

"Savannah I'm going to have to ask you to stand outside please," my dad asked her.
