The Breaking point

Alec POV

The next morning I woke up to Savannah asleep, so I got up quietly. I went to look for a mission, but ran into Magnus and panicked.

"Hey Alec," he said, "have you seen Savannah? She didn't come home last night, so I started to worry."

"Oh she's in my room still asleep," I said still panicking.

He looked at me with sympathy and said, "well will you tell me when she wakes up? I really need to talk to her."

"Sure," I said to him.

"Thanks," he said as I was walking away. I was going to my room to get Savannah. When I got there I heard sniffling, so I knocked on the door. When I didn't get an answer I opened it, and what I saw was Savannah sitting on the bed crying and holding something.

"Hey," she said. She didn't look up at me.

"Hey," I said, "what's wrong?"

"It's you," she said, "and Lydia."

"What did she do this time," I asked her.

"She told me that you loved her more and that after I fell asleep you went to her and did exactly what you did to me to her," she said while crying some more, "is that true?"

"No defiantly not," I told her, "I don't love Lydia like I love you."

Savannah looked at me in shock and said, "what does that mean?"

I stared at her eyes and said, "it means that I love the way she fights, but the way her attitude is I could never fall in love with her like I have you." After I said that she kissed me and last night repeated.

Later that day we were walking and ran into Lydia. "Hey Alec," she said.

"Hey Lydia," I said not looking at her. I noticed that Savannah and Lydia were staring at each other with hatred. "Did you get the note I left by your bed?"

"Yeah I got it and your wrong he doesn't love you at all," Savannah told her and she was right. Then Lydia hit Savannah in the face and that's when they started fighting. But before things could get to bad Jace and I broke it up.

Then my mom showed up, "Savannah Bane. For fighting with a member of the Clave I am banning you from the Institute."

"Whatever," was all she said. Before I knew it she was gone.
