The Lying Mother

Magnus POV

The next morning I heard talking coming from the kitchen so I went there and found Alec talking on the phone.

"I'm not going if Savannah can't go," Alec yelled into his phone.

I walked over to Savannah and asked, "who's he talking too?"

She looked at me and said, "his mom."

"NO MOM STOP," Alec yelled scaring Savannah, "I said I'm not going!" After that he slammed the phone down and looked at Savannah and apologized.

"It's fine," she told him.

"Morning Alec," I said.

"Morning Magnus," he replied.

"If you guys want to talk I'll go away," Savannah said.

"No it's fine but if you want to you could go into the living room," Alec said.

"Alright," she said.

Once Savannah left I asked Alec, "hey what was that all about?"

"My mom wants me to go back to the institute and take care of something," he explains.

"What kind of something," I asked him.

He looked confused and said, "she didn't say. She said that she would tell me when I get there."

"OK well take Savannah with you and see what they say," I suggested to him. Alec looked at me then left to go into the living room where Savannah was. I heard him tell her to get dressed. Then they walked past and I stopped Alec and said, "do you want me to go too?"

"Sure we'll need it," he replied.

Alec POV/ at the Institute

Savannah, Magnus, and I walked to the front of the Institute with worried looks on our faces. I opened the door and saw Isabelle  standing there.

"There you are," she said, "we were worried about you."

"Well I've been staying at Magnus and Savannah's house," I told her. After I said that she looked at me with a concerned face. "Hey what's wrong Izzy?"

Izzy looked behind her then looked back up at me then said, "can we go in the other room and talk please?"

"Yeah sure," I said following her. Once we were in the other room I said, "what's wrong?"

"You shouldn't have brought them here," Izzy told me.

"Why not," I asked.

"Because mom wants to hurt them badly," she explained. "She thinks that they were the ones that made you leave."

"How when she's the one that told me to leave," I said getting angry.

"I know but that was an excuse to get you to leave so she could tell the Clave that they kidnapped you," Izzy explained. And that was all I needed to hear to make me explode with anger and storm out to find my mom. I found her by one of the big screens.

She saw me and said, "Alec your back. What did they do torture you and let you go?"

"They didn't do anything wrong to me," I yelled at her.

Just then I heard the door open and someone say, "Alec, Izzy told me what your mom did." I knew that voice and the beautiful owner of it ran up to me and kissed me. I noticed Magnus was behind her.

"Savannah and Magnus Bane why have you come back here. You two were banned from this Institute," my mother said.

"So was I," I told her.
