Alec POV
"Savannah can I tell you something," I asked.
"Sure," she replied with a smile.
"I'm sorry, but I can't do this," I said.
She looked at me with shock and said, "wha- what did you say?"
"I'm not ready for this. I mean what if I'm a bad father and I mess up," I said.
She smiled at me and said, "oh Alec, this is new for me too. I'm scared and nervous, but we'll get through this together. I promise." By now everyone was surrounding us and smiling.
"Savannah I don't know. Something bad could happen and that's what I'm nervous about," I said to her.
"Alec look at the people around you," Jace said. "We've all got your back man." Once he said that I relaxed and sat down on the couch.
"See Alec I told you," Savannah said smiling, "we'll get through this together. Okay?"
I looked around at everyone and said, "okay."
"Hey Savannah," Clary said, "are you gonna introduce us to your friends."
"Oh yeah. This is Shelby," Savannah said pointing to a girl with brown hair in a ponytail and runes all over her arms.
"Hi," Shelby said.wx
"And this is Alex," Savannah said pointing to a girl wearing eyeliner and dark lipstick with golden brown hair. "She's a warlock and Shelby is a Shadowhunter."
"Hi guys," Alex said. Man that's confusing Alec and Alex.
"Guys this is Alec, Jace, Clary, Simon, Isabelle, and then of course you know my dad," Savannah said pointing to us. "And I really need you to stay in New York, so you can help us."
"Alright," they said at the same time.
