I don't think they know the full extent of what they are getting themselves into. I laid in the big plush bed that was in the condo Quinton supplied for me just thinking about everything. I'm tired of running. I'm tired of always having to start over. I wanted to put a bullet through Diablo's head myself and watch his life drain away. He took everything from me.

I rolled off the bed and decided to roam around and check out what this condo had. First stop; kitchen. I was starving. I opened the fridge to find it fully stocked just like I had been told. I decided to just settle on a pepperoni Pizza Pocket. I took it out of the box and popped it in the microwave; I hopped up onto the counter top and waited for my food to be finished. I looked around at how spacious it was in here and I began to feel lonely. I hated big spaces, it made me think about the people who I could have had around me and the great times I could enjoy. Instead I'm miserable. Maybe if I just stayed in the gang none of this would have happened. That thought occurred to me a lot. No matter how much I feel like I did the right thing I don't think it came at the price of losing my family. I'm 25 man, this is too much stress.

I've been waiting for the phone call to come in from Triana's doctor letting us know when we can come back to see her. Of course he wasn't going to call me since I wasn't family so I was waiting for anyone to call really. It's been a week now and I finally got a call from Malik telling me he was on his way to come and get me. I've been dressed for the last hour and this nigga still ain't here yet. I walked over to my couch and took a seat flipping on the TV. As soon as I did that Malik called. This bitch. I got up turning off the TV and made my way out to his car. I hopped in his car and straight mugged his ass.

“Whatchu looking at me like that for?” He asked.

“Nigga you don’t live that far away, you have me up in this damn house for hours waiting on yo ass! Fuck boy!”

“Oh my bad.” He responded nonchalantly. We were on our way to the hospital so I just decided to rest my head against the window and knock out.

I felt someone shaking me and my eyes opened slightly.

“Nigga get the fuck up. We here.” Malik kept shoving me.

“Alright, alright, alright nigga I’m up, dang.” I responded rubbing a hand down my face and hopping out the car. When I hopped out the car I stretched my body out and began walking behind Malik into the hospital.

“Man I’m getting sick of always being up in here. I can’t wait until she is able to go home.” I complained to Malik.

“You ain’t alone bruh. Don’t worry though I got faith in her. She will be going home shortly.” He explained to me. We made our way into the elevator and made our way to the floor Triana was on. We walked into her room to see her walking around. She looked so much better and she looked beautiful. Triana turned and looked at the both of us; relief seemed to wash over her.

“Thank God you two are here. Y’all need to get me the hell up outta here. I can’t take another day in this place. I’ve been in here way too long. TAKE. ME. HOME!” She yelled at both Malik and I. We both laughed at her dumb ass.

“You need to chill. Yo ass got shot twice. You need to be up in here tryna get better. You had us scared girl.” I explained to her.

“I understand that but I’m better I promise! The blood transfusion worked, but I cannot be in this environment anymore.”

“Sucks to be you!” Malik told her jokingly. Triana walked up to me pouting and wrapped her arms around my torso. I wrapped my arms around her neck and pulled her into me.
