Chapter 2 The Boy On The Boat

I have to retreat from the mayhem of the battle. I tripped on some guys wire (I know sounds impossible) and fell. I need to get to a safe place. I zoom away to the water front and rest for a while. While I'm resting I see a giant crowd in the boatyard. They are loading the citizens on the barges.

While I watch one barge leave the yard I see 3 kids on one of the boats. I hear the black haired boy say that he was going to kill all the titans. His mom or dad must have died and he is really mad at the titans. That kid is an idiot. He doesn't know what he is in to.

Why am I being so hard on the kid. I feel the urge to grapple over to him and say he has a crazy, but hopeful dream. This kid seems like some one who is up to do great things, but who am I to jump to conclusions.

I need to make myself useful so I will stay by the boatyard and protect the people here. The Garrison have done something useful for once in their stinking lives. I haven't seen one titan near here yet. Then I see something that has scared me for life before, an Aberant!
