Chapter 6 Five Years later

For the last couple of years I have been spying on the trainee camp. What I saw was familiar. That kid I saw on the boat was there with his friends. Looks like he was serious. I think I should keep an eye on him. This one is promising. Ha, he reminds me of a younger me.

Now I am watching his graduation ceremony. He is one of the top 10 trainees to graduate. The only ones that are allowed to join the Military Police. I was in that top 10 with Kiana. We'll I follow him after he has had the graduation stuff and see him taking a walk. I run up to him and get ready to talk.

"Hey what's your name," I say to him.

"Eren Jaeger si... wait your not a captain," he says to me surprised.

"Your right I'm not."

"Then who are you?"

"My name is Braden, Braden Goins."

He pauses for a minute. He looks at me with a surprised look. I think he's shocked.

"I, I thought you were dead," he finally says.

"Oh so you've heard of me," I say sarcastically.

"Who hasn't heard if you. You were second to none but Captain Levi. The said you were dead."

"Know that was a lie to get everyone off my chest after number 50. I am still alive."

"So did your sister die though?"

"Yes sadly. Now we need to talk serious. I've heard your going to join the Survey Corps."

"Yeah that's right. What of it?"

"You need to the titans are relentless. They don't stop at just one they will kill hundreds of they survive Lon enough to. If you aren't careful you'll be one of them. Just always have your head in the fight. Any distractions could get you killed. Now I have to go. We will meet again."

Then I leave him standing there, pondering over what I told him.
