Chapter 2

Back to today (with Rebecca)

The ice cream tub was empty and I was getting board.

'Becca, I wanna do something else' I complained.

'come on then, I know a party that's on of you feel like going?' she asked.

'Sure' I said smiling. She stood up and started to look through my cloths for something to wear.

'ooooo, I like this' she said pulling out a red dress just above the knee with lace arms and a lace back. She also pulled out my red pumps and decided she was wearing this.

I got a light blue strapless dress flowing down to my ankle and some sandals. I put my hair up so only the back was up and we set off.

We got there aftr a 10 minute walk and the noise was hurting my ears. I went inside and saw Damon I ran up to him and gave him a big hug.

'Hey iv missed you my strange friend' I said laughing.

'Hi' He said letting me go, 'so how is everything, its been a while'

'Not bad and how was it in France? Did you have a good time?'

'Good thanks'

'Damon I need to tell you something' I said without a smile and his soon dropped. I lead him out side where it was more quiet.

'Damon' I started crying and He pulled me into a hug.

'what?' He asked

'I ermm.... I have cancer' my knees buckled and he held me as I cried.

'shhhh its okay' He said rocking me 'its okay we are here for you, we are here for you'.

He helped me up and brought me back inside. He sat me down and got a drink. I took it off him and downed it the bitter taste in my mouth. I stood up when to get Rebecca and dragged her into the living room where people were dancing and joined in. I drank more and more untill my vision went all blurry.

'Damon there you are' I said smiling at the people He was with.

'Lily your drunk let me take you home.' He said grabbing be waist pulling me out the door.

'I need to tell becca that I'm going' I said.

'Ill call her. Come on Lily' Damon said pulling me out the door. We walked down to my house and He got me key to open the door.

'Weres your mum?' Damon asked.

'She should be upstairs but I'm not sure' I said tripping over the shoes I just took off. But He was able to catch me just in time and pulled me up to him. I stayed there for a few seconds and then pulled away and went up to my room.

'Bye' Damon said.

'No.' I said 'stay with me please?' I asked. We both walked up to my room. I grabbed my pyjamas and went to the bathroom to change.My pyjamas were blue with with bows going down the outside of the leg. Then let my hair down and went back to my room. Damon was sat on my bed with a glass of water for my to sober up. We sat ther in silence for 10 minutes as I drank the water.

'Lily?'

'Yeah?' I said laying down.

'How do you feel?' Damon asked rubbing my arm.

'Good' I said smiling at him and he smiled back.
