It's time

Chapter 9

"Drive" I told Owen as I put my arms around his waist not wanting to argue with Jay in front of Jay and Becca. He started the engine as soon as I told him to.

"Lily!" Jay shouted as we pulled out in ti the road.

My grip loosened around Owen as we got closer to my house.

When we got there I hopped off and put the helmet on the seat.

"You okay?" Owen asked as we walked up to the front door.

"Why wouldn't I be?" I asked back.

"Because didn't look too happy back there." He said.

"It was only a little thing between brother and sister. He was looking after me. It happens all the time." I told him. "Don't worry" I smiled at him.

I took his coat and put it in my room so it was out of the way and then went to get a drink.

"What ya want?" he was stood awkwardly in the door which made me burst out in laughter.

"What's so funny?" his face full of confusion.

"Nothing" I said.

"Come on now don't lie"

"Nothing, I promise"

"It's not good to tell lies Lily" he said taking a step towards me. And another and another. Untill he trapped me so I couldn't move. I never want this moment to end where his green eyes sparkle and make my hands want to touch every inch of his beautiful body. But just our luck Jay walked through the front door so Owen moved four steps away. I sighed,angry at the interruption.

"Jay, I'm sorry for what I did. It's just you know" I said walking up to him.

"I know, does he know?" He looked at Owen who was stood in the door way again.

"No" I whispered. Jay just nodded his head.

"What times mum and dad home?" I asked.

"Well mum's on a night shift so she'll probably be back at around 11 tomorrow and I think dad's staying at Grandma's tonight. Him and mum have been arguing a lot lately, I think they just need some time alone." he said. I just walked away not wanting to know why.

We've been sat in the living room for about and hour with the TV on but only Owen was watching it.I was watching Owen. Becca was watching Jay and Jay kept flicking between Owen and Becca.

"So" Becca spoke first "What are we going to order?"

"What?" Owen asked.

"Chinese, we all ways get on when she comes round ,which is rather often" I answer his question.

"Anything" Jay said.

"Sweet and sour chicken" I said.

"Foo young" Owen shrugged his shoulders.

"Okay I'll go order now" Becca said.

"Dont forget the prawn crackers!" I shouted.

"I would never do that!" she shouted back.

Twenty minutes later the food arrived.

"Jesus, I'm starved" I said putting all my sweet and sour on my plate with some prawn crackers and stealing some of Owens noodles giving him a sweet smile so I get away with it.

Burp! I turned to see Owen laugh at my facial expression.

"Your such a pig" I said sliding down the sofa away from him.

"Every guy does it" he said laughing at me sliding closer to me.

"Dont come near me you disgusting person" I squealed.
