It's time

Chapter 20

Twenty is a good number to me so this chapter is hopeful going to be a good one I have a little suprise for you!!

Only one day until we go on our week away, I had everything ready and so did Melody and Becca but I don't know about the lads, and I had a check up at the hospital soon. My mum had the day off work so she and Jay were coming with me. I was seeing Becca, Melody, Damon and everyone else tomorrow. But Owen is coming here later.

Me and Jay are sat across from each other on the floor playing a very competitive game of monopoly, mums playing too, well she was but left when the arguments got too much for her, so it was just me and Jay now.

"Hey that's not enough money!" Jay shouted counting the money I just handed him.

"Yes it is, you asked for twenty and I gave you twenty!" I shouted back.

"No I asked for thirty" he said not as loud.

"No twenty" I shot back just as loud.

"No thirty!" He shouted again.

"Prove it and if its thirty ill give you extra but it its twenty you give me the money back" I said crossing my arms.

"Fine, it says" he picked up the card, "twenty" he whispered.

"Sorry what as that" I leaned forward cupping my ear, "did, did you say twenty"

"Alright no need to rub it in" he handed me back my twenty.

"Yeah that's what I thought" I waved the money in his face.

"Don't push it Lily" he warned me.

"Or what" I waved the money more frantically this time.

"Right that's it" he said pushing the board game to the side and leaped towards me, just in time I pushed back with my feet but got a carpet burn on the back of my legs because of the shorts I'm wearing. I stood up and ran for the kitchen where I knew my mum would be.

"Mummy" I screamed, "save me!!" I heard Jay running after me and then I wrapped my arms aroung my mum and put her between me and Jay.

"No you got your self into this you can get your self out" she pulled my arms off her.

"Looks like you have run out of options" Jay said walking up to me.

"You wanna bet" I ran outside in to the back garden with nothing on my feet and was followed my the patter of Jay, also with no shoes on. I ran to the side and went through the gate and in to the front. I had a quick look behind to see no Jay so I stoped still, which was a mistake beacuae I felt him wrap his arms around my waist and pull me to the ground but before he could get back up I was free again and ran as fast as I could on the hot pavement.

"Get back here you cheeky monkey". he shouted, he hasn't called me that name in years which made me giggle.

"Is that the best you can do, smelly bum" I shouted back.

"I guess we will find out" I look back at him and saw that he was catching up. I turned the corner and bumped in to a very soft wall. I looked up to see Owen stood there looking down at me all confused.

"Save me" I said and hid behind him.

"What?" he asks and at that moment Jay ran around the corner.

"That's not fair, no protectors" Jay objected.

"What did she do?" Owen asked.

"Nothing" I said.

"We were playing monopoly and she was waving her money in my face" Jay crossed his arms, "I told her not to push it but she didn't stop."
