fourteen

Ethan's POV

As soon as I heard her, I ran as fast as my legs could take me to find her.

"Where are you?" I shout to Eleanor.

I don't get a reply. But deep inside I know she's okay. She has to be.

I push past the bunch of infected without a single care in the world and I hear gunshots behind me.

Hopefully that's Marco finishing them off.

"Eleanor!" I yell.

"Agh! Up here!" She replied.

I follow the sound of her italian accent, finally coming across a room full of dead infected bodies and she's sitting on the hotel bed.

"Baby.." I say.

"Ethan?"

"I'm here. What happened?"

"I was just clearing this floor up and came into this room." She stops and breathes. "Dio, and this dumb infected scared the shitballs out of me, resulting my scream. I attracted a bunch of them and I took care of them."

"Are you okay?"

"Fine. No bites."

"Alright that's good."

Eleanor's POV

Hours have passed and it was already about 10pm now. We got rid of all the infected that infested this hotel and boy, we are tired. I was sat against a wall while the others were lying on the floor.

Gilinsky stood up and gives us all a serious look. "Guys, I have a feeling this place we'll be our home for quite a while. We've cleared it up and it's all safe for now."

We all just stared at him to continue.

"And what I'm trying to say is, it's time for us all to get serious. We've been attacked numerous times now and we're pretty fucking lucky we're all still here together," he says chuckling in the end.

We all let out a giggle.

"So here's my plan and I hope y'all will agree with me."

"Ey, Gilinsky. We're in this together man." Nicole says making Gilinsky smile.

We all smiled.

Gilinsky's plan was pretty damn strict and serious. First off; Rosie, Roi and Aaron will be taking self defense lessons from Ethan and Grayson. And armory lessons from Gilinsky and I. They needed these lessons in order to protect themselves in case of an emergency in the future.

The next thing was barriers. There were about two barriers built around the hotel. The boys built a metal barrier around the main entrance of the hotel to keep away any infected that came and another barrier by the stairs leading to the first floor. So if an infected managed to come in they wouldn't be able to get pass the first floor.

We all had to take turns doing a watch. So three people every night will have to stay by the ground floor keeping watch of what's happening. We also have cooking duty, and we'll all take turns on making the food and whatnot. The restaurant was on the first floor. Plus laundry duty, yup you heard that right. We're going to have deal with our dirty laundry.

And last but not least, our rooms. Gilinsky thinks it's best if we all slept on the fourth floor. So that's what we all decided on.

I decided to share a suite room with Ethan after hours of convincing Rosie. Nicole and Jack and Marco and Lance were also sharing a suite room. Leila decided to sleep on her own . Gilinsky , Johnson, Aaron and Roi got their own rooms leaving Rosie to share a room with Grayson.
