No More Dream

Y/N's POV

I woke up early the following morning and started to get ready for my interview. Although I could no longer follow my dreams of becoming a performer I decided to pursue a career where I would still be in that environment so I became an idol therapist. Basically my job is to take care of idols physically and mentally. I do things such as stretch them for practice so that they don't hurt themselves and treat them if they get injured.

I put on some black slacks and a white dress shirt, along with some beige pumps. I also put on minimal makeup and do some loose waves on my dark brown hair. I look at myself in the mirror and breathe out slowly.

I really hope this interview goes well. I really need this job.

These last three years have been quite difficult since I not only had to balance my school expenses but I also had to pay for my grandmother's hospital bills. She's been in and out of the hospital because of her weak lungs, she hasn't collapsed again though which I guess is a good sign. Nevertheless, I spent all the money I had left in my savings for this flight to get this job. They're going to pay me extremely well, since I will be looking after this company's recently debuted new group of idols.

I grab my purse and walk out of my apartment to grab a taxi to make my way to my destination. I don't really know where this building is located since I've never been in Seoul before. I have the name of the building written down on a piece of paper which I hand over to the taxi driver. He nods his head in understanding after I explain that this is where I'm heading. I sit back in my seat and look down at the name on the paper,

Big Hit Entertainment Company-Music and Artists for Healing .

It sounds like a nice company, I just hope they give me the job. I bite down on my lip and sigh again and look out the window. Before I know it I'm getting off the cab and start walking towards the entrance.

Pleaseeeeeeee let me get this job.

I tell the man sitting at the front desk that I'm here for a job interview and he calls up to confirm. When he finishes the call he nods at me and tells me to go up the elevator to Bang Si-hyuk's office.

I guess he's the one doing my interview.

Before I turn the doorknob to walk into the room I take a final breath and proceed to walk inside. I get greeted by an average sized, chubby man and he smiles at me sweetly telling me to please walk in and have a seat.

He asks me a series of questions such as previous employers, qualifications for the job, and how I heard about the opportunity. Then, he asks me the question I dread the most at job interviews,

Why should we give you this job?

Well I don't know because you're hiring?

That was what I wish I could have said but instead I responded with this,

  "In my years of doing internships and volunteer work, I was very involved with our patients and sought to deliver the best care possible and they ultimately left my care without any complaints and some even had better joint movements and a reduced amounts of accidents. Of course here I plan to do the same, and take care of your new idol group so that the may continue to succeed in their endeavors and bring success and recognition to your company. I will do this efficiently and actively since I received an education from one the most prestigious universities in New Zealand, I have more than the necessary qualifications, and have had enough experience to resolve any situation. I am also a kind and compassionate person, who knows what it feels to not be able to properly use your body and I am here to prevent that from happening to you and your idols. That is why I believe I should get this job."

He stares at me and then shows a small smile. Then utters the words I'd never thought I'd hear:

"When can you start?"

~~~~~~~~~~~
I walk out of the interview room and make my way towards the elevator. Once the doors close, I start to scream and dance around flailing my arms all over the place.
I did it! I really did it! I'm so happy! This feels like a dream!
I start spinning around in circles screaming, but then stop when the elevator makes a stop to pick up another person. I decide to take out my phone and call Leo to tell him the good news. As I'm putting up my phone to my ear the elevator doors open and I'm greeted by a big crowd and flashing cameras, but they're not taking pictures of me they're taking pictures of a group of boys exiting a room.
I try to look for an exit through the crowd but instead meet a familiar pair of warm brown eyes staring back at me in shock. I freeze in place and all I hear is the faint "Hello?"  coming from Leo over the phone.
No way. It's him.
