3 weeks has gone by since Amber and Emma went to the mall. Amber was now fully living with Torin and the pack. Torin and the boys were going to help her sell her townhouse and she had quit her job. Amber had decided to go back to collage for art. She loved drawing and painting and Torin and Kiara encouraged her to follow her passions. Amber also went on her first hunt and it had been the most amazing experience of her life. They had gotten a deer and Amber had made the kill. It was weird to think about the fact that she had essentially eaten raw deer but it had been delicious.

Amber and Emma had told Torin about the creepy guys and he hadn’t been pleased that new rouges had moved close to his territory but he couldn’t make them leave yet as they hadn’t actually tried to move into territory and as long as they didn’t Torin would leave them be for now. He had warned both women to stay away from them.

Amber has also been trying out her different forms. She has turned into a black bear, a cougar, a Grizzle bear and a lioness. The rest of the pack had been helping her learn her new forms as everyone had a favorite.  Finn enjoyed being a black bear, Brianna loved being a lioness, Leith preferred a cougar, Torin and Kiara liked being lions and Ava enjoyed being a grizzle bear. Amber preferred being a wolf. She had always loved wolves and now she could finally experience being one.

Today was the first day of her new art classes and it was the first time since the change that she would be going out alone.

“Don’t worry so much, no one is going to bother you” Torin said to her as she was getting ready to leave.

“How do you know?”

“Because you’re an Alpha. As long as you remain in a public place and not on someone’s territory no one will bother you.”

“If you say so Torin.”

“I do now go before you end up being late”

Amber left the house and drove her new Ford Focus to school. She had gotten it a few weeks before the attack and she loved it. As Amber got to school and went into class she was nervous. She hadn’t been out yet without the pack and she really didn’t want to get into a fight. Her instincts were telling her to relax and everything would be fine however her brain was just not listening. She got out her art supplies and binder and waited. No one sat next to her as even the humans sensed she was different. Amber picked up the scents of a few other shifters. She figured there was 1 other predator ground shifter, a herbivore ground shifter and a bird shifter. Amber couldn’t tell yet what type of bird shifter yet. She also noticed there were no alphas which was good. The professor walked in and Amber’s jaw almost dropped.

It was the same creepy guy she had seen at the mall. He was tall, had dirty blonde hair and eyes so brown they were almost black. Amber put him at about 6’5 and well built. Instantly the women in the class started whisper.

“omg he’s sooo cute’

“cute? He’s Hot with a capital H”

“I wonder if he’s married”

Amber shrunk down trying to ignore the whispers that she and the other shifters could hear clearly. The only ones not whispering where the other shifters in the room. They seemed to be studying him intently as if they too knew something was wrong with him. The professor looked around and smiled to himself before his eyes locked into her. Amber couldn’t stop herself from lifting up the corner of her mouth and silently snarling at him. The professor looked away first.
