It was 4:00 pm, they had just gotten home from Annie's funeral. The car ride home had been awkward, no one knew what to say so it was silent. Silent and awkward.

Ethan was still crying and he didn't feel like stopping anytime soon. He walked up to his room and got changed out of nice clothing, throwing on sweatpants and a shirt.

He sat on his bed after closing his door, tears silently streaming down his face. He stared at his bedroom wall, thinking. Thinking was dangerous when you were upset.

Shaking his head, he stood up. Tears kept falling and honestly, he felt numb. He punched the nearest wall before sitting on the edge of his bed again, running his other hand through his hair. He ignored the blood dripping from his hand and he just kept thinking.

Annie; she was always on his mind. He couldn't stop thinking about her. She was the reason he didn't get much sleep and the reason he felt numb. She was always on his mind. Sometimes, good and happy times they shared but mostly he thought about that one day. That one, terrible day. The day his world fell apart.. the day Annie was murdered.

Hearing his door open and close, he looked up. Grayson and Cameron. Running a hand through his hair, not using the hand he punched a wall with, he sighed.

"What?" He weakly asked, not looking at his brother and sister.

"Don't put on that fake act, Eth. We all know you don't wanna be alone right now" Cameron said, walking over with Grayson following her.

Cameron was right, Ethan didn't wanna be alone. He never liked being alone when he was upset, he didn't mind his family seeing him fall apart. And he knew, this was the most he would need them.

Cameron looked at his hand and sighed softly, looking over at Gray,

"Can you go get me some things for his hand?" She asked and Grayson nodded. Having twin brothers, Cameron picked up a few things on first aid.

Sitting next to Ethan, she wrapped an arm around him and bit her lip when he started to cry. Soothingly, she rubbed his back. She knew that you had to let people cry; it was the best thing. Bottling things up weren't good and as much as crying sucked, it let out people's emotions.

Grayson came back and handed Cameron the things he brought. She grabbed them and quickly fixed up Ethan's few cuts and scraps before wrapping his hand. Grayson sat down next to Ethan and patted his twins back. Both Cameron and Grayson knew better than to say 'things will get better' because they knew how much Annie meant to Ethan.

Cameron sat back down and once again pulled Ethan close, looking at him. She bit her lip, she didn't know what Ethan wanted right now other than Annie. She didn't know what to say, how to comfort him so she decided to do the best she could.

Grayson looked at Ethan and pet him on the back once again, not really knowing what else to do. The only thing you could hear in the room was Ethan quietly crying.

They remained that way for about 20 minutes before Ethan sat up and rubbed his eyes. He looked at both Cameron and Grayson, giving them a weak smile,

"Thank you guys" he said softly.

"No need, Eth" Cameron said, Grayson nodded agreeing.

"Dinners ready!" They heard from downstairs. Cameron and Grayson both looked at Ethan who shook his head,

"I'm not hungry. I'm gonna try to take a nap" he said quietly. Cameron and Grayson both stood up, nodding.

"Yell if you need something" Cameron said, walking out of the room with Grayson following.

Ethan laid down in bed, turning on his side so his back was facing his bedroom door. He looked at the nightstand and at the picture of Annie and him, a small smile appeared but was quickly replaced with a frown,

"Why'd you have to go, baby girl?" He asked, blinking away tears. "I miss you"
