"mommy "Christina cried at her mother's bed side. Holding her mother's hand. Christian stood in the door way watching, Ana right beside him.
" its Time to do the surgery " Grace said. Christina wouldn't let go of her mother's hand. Emily's voice was barely heard but they could all hear her " its Time to let go Christie" she touched her daughter's face and wipe away her tears. "i love you baby girl always and forever no matter what okay." Christina cried even louder. Emily looked at Grace "may i have a moment with Christian please." she asked. Grace nodded. Everyone left leaving the two alone. "sit down Christian i won't bit" she giggled. As she patted a spot beside her on the bed. He hesitated at first. "you have to promise me you'd take care of my little girl" he shook his head saying "your going to be fine. You going look after her. An do all the crazy thing you always do" Emily smiled and Christian found himself saying "i miss that, your smile" looking down at their entwined hands. "promise me you'd always remember me" she broke the silence.
"sorry Ms Matthews, it's time."the nurse said for the doorway.
Three hours later
"why the fuck are they taking so long "Christian yelled " Christian calm down " she seated her husband down once again.
Finally grace appeared, with blood all over her scrubs. From behind her you could see as nurses took Emily back to her room. Grace gave them a sad look. " we'll have to wait and see if she wakes up."she says. "if-" Christina cut him off and we all know Christian doesn't like being cut off. "can we see her please" Christina asked. Grace nodded.
With The sound of her mother's heart monitor made she fell asleep. Christian stood in the door way yet again watching them, hands came from behind an hugged him. "did you love her?" she whispered against his back. He closed his eyes and shook his head "i don't know. She was my best friend. We had a similar past and she saw a side of me no else saw. Not even you but i don't know if ever loved her. She's so fragile, she reminds me of you so innocent and -" the sound of the heart monitor echoed through the hospital wing "beep, beep, beep, beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep" Christina jolted awake by the terrible sound "mommy!"...
A/N :hey guys I'm so sorry Emily was such a good character she irritated Christian a bit but she was his best friend, she was a good person.
