"fuck Amy, why the fuck are you leaving me?"he askedm Falling to his knees crying "I can't stay knowing it could never be the same between us," I utter out, trying to stop the hot tears which threaten to escape. "and who fault was that?" he ask through sobs. "mine OK it was all mine!" I yelled "why?" seriously if only you knew how much it hurt me every time I saw you with her and finding out my husband has a child by another woman. Seriously! "Because i was hurt" I answered simply "hurt Amelia? Hurt? No, i was hurt. My own wife betrayed me with her fucking best friend. I was hurt you, you were something else, " he yelled at me as though I am a kid. "I was hurt Lukas I get that you and she have a kid but the fact that you kissed her hurt me, Okay. I was angry and betrayed and Mike was there" I yelled back. " oh my fucking God Amy you on about that It happened four weeks ago?"he said with shocked eyes.
And for the first time in a long time it. I wanted scream at him, blame him but I couldn't because I did this. I ruined my family. I had torn us apart. Me. It was my fault. Not Cristian's or that woman's but mine. "she's dying." so much pain laced in his voice. What? No. "Lukas" I muttered breathless by what I've heard.
An not a moment to late arrived Saint Emily. Her jaw dropped at the sight before her. Instead she came in and locked the door behind her. Lukas and I both looked at her confused. "Get up" she extends her hand but he doesn't take it I can see hurt on her features "I'm sorry Amelia. I never meant to hurt anyone. I've always been that way." I can tell by her voice, that she is sincere. Lukas still staring at the ground daring not making eye contact with either of us. "snap out of it Grayson the world isn't ending" she joked, which made Lukas look up at her with a slight irritation "thank you" she simply said and turn towards the door. "I am truly sorry" she said, tucking on her hospital gown tighter. I think she was hoping we couldn't hear it.
By the time she left. Lukas walked towards me. "can we try and make this work at least" I nodded as his finger caress my bottom lip before planting sweet kisses on my forehead avoiding my lips completely. "I love you Mrs Grayson" he says in a husky voice my inner goddess starts jumping for joy. "I love you too Lukas, always and forever. I'm sorry" a sob escape my quivering lips. "hush, baby let's go home" I nodded again. Home, I missed home.
