leigh tossed her white roses onto the ground in front of the tombstone, crouching down so she can clearly see the words she already mesmerized a few times before:

Marina Johnson

a Mother, a Wife, and a Marine.

1979 - 2013

leigh smiled, a tear slipping down her face. she kissed the tombstone, letting another tear fall down her cheek before standing up. she tightened the light jacket around her body before brushing off her black skirt and walking away towards the entrance. leigh waved goodbye to the guard, paul, before hoping into the car that was waiting for her by the stop sign.

"thanks for coming to pick me up louis." she said, kissing him on the lips before buckling up. louis nodded, lowering his sunglasses onto his face and driving out the parking lot onto the street. louis grabbed onto leigh's hand and gave it a squeeze, turning up the music when her favorite song came on. [ song ]

they drove in complete silence, the only sound was rihanna's voice singing. leigh was softly singing along when her favorite part came along, her head against the cool glass.

"there's no one to call 'cause i'm just playing games with them all.

the more i swear i'm happy the more i'm feeling alone.

'cause i spend ever hour just going through the motions, i can't even get the emotions to come out. dry as a bone but i just wanna shout.

louis looked over at her, his eyebrow raised but she ignored him. she leaned her head against the window payne and closed her eyes, letting the soft purr of the car drift her off to sleep.
