Uh, ignore the update (10/6)

Just fixing the title

Johnny Toast stepped towards the voice until he saw a faint outline of a girl within the glowing aura. "Is that you, Miss Amie?" He squinted, wobbling around on weakened legs.

The girl perked up at her name. "Yes, yes, I am Amie! Hello!" She waved.

He hoped that weren't true. Even now, Toast still had nightmares of her sadistic methods for winning his heart. He wanted to run in the other direction, but it was his own house and he didn't know how long the old spirit had been trapped in the basement.

When she saw him, she realized it wasn't Johnny Ghost, after all. She said in her post-mortem, hushed voice, "After all this time, you did love me, Johnny Toast? Rather than Johnny Ghost, you have come to bring me out of this place..."

Johnny's knees buckled again when he heard this and his flashlight rolled out of his hands towards Amie. He was leaned towards the cold cement floor with his hand clamped over his mouth. A tiny pool of blood sat upon his palm when he removed it from his face.

Amie's smile faded and her eyes opened wider. "You look bad! What has happened?"

Toast took a deep breath. "It's... nothing. Is there another room in here I'm not seeing? A few people went through a trap door leading from the upstairs hallway, but... I don't see them anywhere."

"You don't know the look of your own house?" Amie asked, cocking her head to the side.

"I..." Johnny took a handkerchief from a pocket in his belt, wiping blood off his hands and face. "Admittedly, I can't seem to remember the layout. Ghost and I don't usually stay for long--wait!" Toast locked eyes with Amie for a second, then awkwardly looked away.

The spirit seemed confused at his sudden revelation.

"I need to find Johnny Ghost!" He replaced the rag in his pocket and stood up with shaking legs. "Please," he begged for Amie's help, "is there another door? It's really dark down here, and... I'm a bit dizz..."

"Johnny!" The french maiden reached forward and caught the falling P.I.E. member, accidentally wrapping chains around him. "Are you doing good? You need to say what happened!"

Toast felt uncomfortable. "...Ah, sorry... Electrocuted twice... I'll be fine. I just... need a guide, I guess. Also, the chains..."

"Oh!" Amie exclaimed. She removed the chains from over his head. When he sat up, she held them out for him to see. "Can you help me?"

"S-Sorry, I didn't know about the chains. If Ghost bound you like this, he must've been really angry at the time... Or, perhaps... afraid of you."

Her pale, almost paper white lips fell into a frown. "He was afraid?"

Johnny apologized again. He felt somewhat guilty, being that Amie still had a bit of a crush on Johnny Ghost. "I... Nevermind, ignore that. I was only guessing." He picked the lock on the cuff with a bobby pin from his pocket.

When her wrists were finally revealed, he noticed they were very purple and cut up as opposed to her pasty skin. Guilt had completely washed over him. "I'm so sorry, Miss Amie... It was barbaric to lock you up alone with your wrists bound like this!"

"You apologize a lot." Amie said, a smile reforming on her face. "It felt like nothing, but I do not know why." She said, inspecting the odd purple color. "Really, I do not feel pain."

"Well, that's good." Toast said. She didn't seem aware of the fact that she was dead, but he decided not to comment on it. He picked up his flashlight that had almost fallen into the tangle of chains. "I, uh, hate to go back to the question, but... Is there another door down here?"

"Sure! I think I saw one before the light went out... two months ago." Amie answered, not thinking about the fact that she had been stuck in a pitch black room for two months with nothing to do.

She began to walk towards the stairs Johnny had come down from. Toast followed.

When she stopped, she was directly in front of the stairs. "There's one at the top!"

Toast looked up. "Oh..." He messed with his hair with one hand nervously. "I-I don't want to put you down, but... that's where I came from... And, to be safe, I don't think you want to go directly into a bright room. I don't think your eyes are ready for that yet."

"How silly! Then there must be a new door in here." Amie said with no shame.

Johnny shined the flashlight across the walls. Just as the outline of a door reached the light, it flickered and burned out. "Great." He said.

"Mon Dieu(Oh God)! It is dark again!" The french girl said fearfully.

All of a sudden, the entire room had a greenish tint, as it was when he had first entered the basement.

"Uh, Miss Amie... You're glowing, so... It's not that dark, right?" Toast said.

"What do you mean?" Amie asked, looking around. "Now I see it does seem not as dark as I thought, but people do not glow. Are you sure you are well?"

Johnny blushed. "Well, uh... Just trust me, please. Could you walk towards where I spotted that door?"

"Okay!" Amie shrugged with a smile.

The green light followed her wherever she walked, illuminating part of the room until it finally reflected off of a metal door.

"That's the one!" Johnny said. He moved his hand towards the doorknob, then looked back, smiling shyly. "Thanks for believing in me."

Amie smiled back. She said nothing, but her mind was exploding with happiness; although she might have not been able to gain the love of Johnny Ghost, maybe she still had a chance with Toast.

Johnny finally opened the door to find a hallway of doors.

Amie was the first to comment. "Wow. You have a large basement."

"Why don't I remember this part of the house?" Toast asked.

"Who is that?" Amie said, pointing to a figure slumped down in the middle of the hallway.

Johnny cautiously moved towards the being with the French girl close behind.

When he approached it, he noticed a big chunk of wood sticking out of the person's bloodied arm, which was forming a big red stain in his shirt.

"Johnny, I think he is not awake!" Amie speculated. She put her hands around the boy's face and gingerly lifted it towards the light.

Johnny Toast gasped.

"Light?!"

--Light, as in Zeron. It's weird how a character who barely showed up in Venturiantale ended up as such a common one in P.I.E. Chart.

Also, sorry if this seems a bit rushed. That's why the ending is sO dramatic, and why this note might not make any sense.

aLSO ALSO, I know Amie/Amii/Amiee has kind of... broken English, but I can't write like that so I just made her speak with... less big words? "^^ I'm not entirely sure what I'm saying

I am very tired
