Chapter 3

~ Present Day ~

Adrianna's POV

"Beep, beep, beep" I shuffle in my bed reaching for the snooze button on my alarm clock.

I squint to see the time on my alarm clock in bright red reading "6:15 am". Ugh, I hate the morning

I don't even have school today, it's Saturday.

School feels so wierd ever since Chris left nothing was the same.

I don't have anyone to skip classes with anymore or anyone to make me laugh. No one to talk to text secretly under my desk. No one to hold hands with as I walk down the hallway. 

The school just feels empty without him. Its not like I dont have friends, Chris introduced me to a ton of friends. And I made a good amount of friends on my own. Like my best friends Mya and Cameron.

It's just things feel so different without Chris there.

My parents are virtually never here so things are pretty quiet around the house.

They own a real estate company and are always gone showing houses or doing seminars to other realtors on how to keep a profit and all that other real estate stuff.

They were supposed to be gone for this past weekend and now they're staying another week.

Hey the longer the better, now that my baby's home I have someone to entertain me. Speaking of Chris....

"Aye babe! You up?" I hear his footsteps coming up the stairs. I didn't even notice him gone from my bed. I wonder why he's up so early.

I see him peek his head into my room. Damn he still looks sexy even in the early hours of the morning.

"Good morning beautiful" he smiles at me coming through the door.

Wow I've missed those words.

"Goodmorning babe, why are you up so early? And did you turn on my alarm? You know I sleep in on Saturdays," I raised an eyebrow at him questioningly.

Chris isn't the type to wake up before the sun was out enless it was for school or something very important. You'd be lucky to get him up before 10.

I watch him as he fully walks into my room, flashing his perfect pearly white teeth. "Well I had plans for us today and I wanted to start early." Just as he said that the smell if bacon hit my nose.

I started to say something but he cut me off, rude ass. "Don't ask questions, just get in the shower. Put something casual on. Oh and please dont take all day to get dressed. Your bag is already in the car.  I'll be downstairs making breakfast if you need me." He turned to walk out the room.

Well look who grew some balls during his time visiting Alcatraz. I admit it's cute but I'm not the type to just take commands. Even if it's from Chris. 

"Since when was I your daughter? Don't get mixed up Christopher!" I take a step towards him "Maybe you got amnesia when you fell trying to get up to my window last night or something because from what I remember this is not how our relationship works. Now where the f...." he cut me off with a kiss.

This boy must really feel like getting slapped this morning.

Im not even gonna lie though, he's an amazing kisser. His soft lips still make me melt like it's our first kiss. I start to wrap my arms around his neck before I remember that he cut me off.

I finally pull away from the kiss. This dumb ass just starts laughing at me. He better be glad I love him.

"Would I do thatto my daughter? Or this," he squeezes my ass slightly and I slap his hand away "Sometimes you should shut up Adrianna" he laughed, imphasizing my name.

"I actually find it cute when you think your snapping at me.  So go on and get your cute ass in the shower before you have some burnt breakfast!"

"Christo-" I stumbled over my words. Ugh whatever I give up. "Fine" I sighed.

Its too early in the morning for all this. I guess I'll just listen to this big head. Maybe he actually has something good planed.

"And for your information, everything I do is cute" I winked and strutted my way to the bathroom.

"Damn right" I heard him mumble under his breath. Today looks like its gonna be a good day.... I hope.
