Chapter 9

Adrianna's POV

Laying here in his arms is absolutely the best feeling a girl can imagine.

Hearing him say those three words still bring butterflies to my stomach, even after the 1 year and 9 months we've been together.

This past year has been the best year of my life. Feeling him sit up brings me out of my trance.

His beautiful hazel eyes look into mine as he begins to speak. "Babygirl  I need to get you home. You need to get some rest, tired is written all over your face. You want me to drive you and come back for your car or.."

"I'm fine babe" I say turning down his offer immediately.

I can drive perfectly fine by myself, plus I need a few minitues alone to think.

"I'll drive myself home don't worry, just follow behind me in your car" I say fully sitting up now. He just nods his head in agreement leading me out of his car. 

Slipping into the drivers seat after he opens the door for me, I stick my key into the ignition. He pecks me on my forehead before walking over to his car.

I pull out on the road turning on my radio on along my mind to slip away into my thoughts . 

Me and Chris have been together for over a year and a half and although it's been hard, I can honestly say I've never been more happier than when im with him.

He understands me better than the people I've known my whole life. He makes me laugh at the right times and is always there for me to cry on, even if he's the one who caused the tears.

Yeah, I'm tired of all the pain but I'm not quite tired of our relationship.

I'm the type of girl that's never sure what she wants. But right now I am possitive that Chris is the one I want.

Chris POV

We finally pull up into Adri's driveway. I hear my phone vibrate once again but dismiss it, slipping it into my front pocket. I get out the car, rushing to help a very tired looking Adrianna.

I grab hand pulling her up and into my arms once more. Unlocking her front door with my free hand I walk into her dark, silent house.

Her parents still aren't back.

I carry her upstairs to her bedroom, softly laying her onto the bed. I smile forms on her tired face right before she gently pecks my lips .

"I can start the shower for you if you want to clean up. If your too tired i'll just grab you something to sleep in so you can get some rest" I say to her with concern.

She just looks so tired and worn out, all I want to do is make her as comfortable as possible.

"A shower would be nice" she finally says in a low voice. Smiling down at her and nodding my head  I head to the bathroom and start her shower.

I go into her closet going straight for the pajamas and grab her a pair of shorts and a oversized white shirt. I walk back out and see her scrolling through her phone, half asleep.

She smiles at me, rolling out of bed and heading to the shower.

I finally lay down on her bed, pulling off my shirt and taking my phone out of my pocket. Ten missed calls and fifteen messages.

Not even paying attention to who they're from I clear my notifications and plug my phone up into the wall to charge. Before I know it, Adri's out the shower laying her head in my chest.

"Thank you ....for everything. I'm sorry for starting that argument. Im sorry for focusing on the bad things when all you ever try to do is make me happy. I'm sorry for being a bitch and I'm sorry for..." she trails off falling asleep in my arms. I laugh to myself smiling down at my little sleeping beauty.

"Stop apoligizing" I whisper in her ear. "Everything's gonna be ok , I promise" I say placing a kiss on her forehead.

Hearing my phone vibrate once more I dismiss it again getting fustrated with whoever decided to blow up my phone today. I take one more look at my little princess sleeping so peacefully.

"All I want is for you to be happy" I say right before I doze off to sleep.
