Vincent's P.O.V.

"Mano po lola!"

Nagmano ako sa lola ko, dito na siya nakatira samin. Okay lang naman sa asawa ni mama eh. Mabuti ang pakikitungo niya sakin nandiyan o wala si mama.

Gusto niya na ngang tawagin ko siyang papa pero....^~awkward.

He remembered his son through me, his son died four years ago due to a plane accident. Very awful. He could be my buddy.

"Kaawaan ka apo. Nakita mo ba si Louie?" she was referring to my little brother.

"Hahanapin ko po yun."

she smiled. When we went to my lola's province, she asked for forgiveness stating that if she will be forgiven, she can rest in peace. I told her not to.

I saw Louie at the backyard sitting alone. I came and sat beside him.

"Anong problema mo bro? hahaha!"

He looked at me with sad eyes.

"Bakit ayaw sakin ng crush ko?"

Psh! Kala ko ano na!

"Kasi...siguro iba gusto niya, hayaan mo! Bukas makalawa ayaw mo na rin sa kanya!"

he smiled and wrapped his little fingers in my neck, hugging me.

"Sana kuya Vincent, paglaki ko maging katulad kita!"

Oh geez.

Flattered ;)

Ginulo ko ang buhok niya.

"Hindi ka magiging katulad ko....you should be you. Don't live under someone's shadow. Just be you."

I said.

"Mga anak, kakain na tayo!"

"Yehey!" sabay naming sigaw.

I turned on my laptop. I opened facebook, twitter, instagram, yahoo mail etc....to search for Emmy's name but in some instances....there are no Emmy's account found. I do this everyday hoping I could find her but no luck.

Before sleeping, I stayed wide awake. To start a new life, I should begin with myself. Tomorrow, I will transfer school and leave like a thief on a silent night.

Hearing the crickets, I fell asleep.
