* Lenny’s POV *
“Babe.” I uttered, sincerely as Alesia went past, but I’ve managed to stop her from leaving the photo shoot without clearing things up. It has been three days since I’ve heard from her, and not once did she returned any of my calls or responded to my hundreds of messages.
“What’s happening with you?” I asked, but she only yanked her arm away from me, full on ignoring my questions like I was someone invisible to her. I’d say she maybe on her time of the month, but this hasn’t happened before, so I was a tad bit scared of how she was reacting.
Following her, I locked the door of her dressing room to get a chance to talk to her alone. I watched her get her things ready, called someone on the phone, completely avoiding my stares. She kept quiet as she sat there and waited for time, maybe she thinks I’ll get tired of waiting for her, but in reality, I’d wait until she notices and forgives me. Slipping down to the ground, I sat comfortably, my back leaning to the only door that could set her out.
“I miss you, Alesia. Come back home please.” I expressed, thinking that she couldn’t just mute me out. She’ll get tired of pushing me away, but I’ll never get tired of fighting for her. She’s the only one I could ever love.
“Tell me what I did. I really don’t have any idea.” She sighed, heavily, after I’ve uttered those words, which confirmed that she was indeed listening to every word coming out of my mouth. “Babe, I love you.”
But still no response.
“Please babe.” I pouted, but not a word was heard from her.
And then, my head wanted to explode. Pointed metal things kept stabbing on my head, poking my brain for something I didn’t know. Both of my hands went up on the sides of my head as I struggled on the floor, calling for help. It was all too sudden.
Groaning in pain, my body rolled on the ground as I heard Alesia coming up to me to check me out. “What’s wrong, babe?” I heard her ask, but I was more focused on what was happening. “Babe.” She called, placing my head on her lap, trying to figure out what was wrong.
Soon, I saw her moved her face closer to mine, watching my head closely, fixing it with her hand, perhaps looking for a clue why I had suddenly having the worst pain in my life. But as her face came closer to mine, all I had in mind was that I wanted to kiss her, forgetting all the pain.
“There, I’m all cured!” I exclaimed, after I had grabbed her face, inching closer for a kiss, only to face a shock-filled Alesia. Her eyes never left my sight, and even after I waved my hand in her face, she didn’t move.
Seconds later, she glared. “You were joking?” She asked, to which I nodded, smiling like I was a kid caught of doing something I shouldn’t do. Well, I guess you know what happened afterwards. I met with Alesia’s hand, slapping the back of my head hard.
“Ow.” I whimpered, rubbing the part she had hit as I made a long face.
“You deserve it.” She explained. “That wasn’t a good joke, Len!”
“But it was the only way you’d stop ignoring me.” I uttered. “Tell me please, what’s the whole reason why you left?”
She sighed, watching me closely, and then leaning her back on the door beside me. “I was giving you a reason to like her.” Like who? Was the first question that entered my mind as my eyes wandered around the room. Looking back at her, tears started welling up in her eyes, confirming the first name that popped in my head.
“Serenity?” She nodded, wiping her tears with her own hands.
“I heard you and John talking about it that night.” She trailed off. “John asked you if…” She paused, to control her tears and breathe heavily. “He asked you if….” She tried to continue, but couldn’t say the words. Instead, tears flowed down her cheeks as she pulled her knees up, hugging it tightly, laying her head on top of it.
