The soul of a willow tree

Spoke to me.

He told me of all the things

I could be.

The soul of a willow tree

Stood taller than me.

He explained that things could change,

That it's a possibility.

The soul of a willow tree

He swayed in the wind.

He reminded me of a gentle melody,

Gliding along the sand.

The soul of a willow tree

Lives down by the creek.

A gentle flowing creek,

Who also had a gentle melody.

The singing of the wind,

And the willow tree,

Both of them comforted me.

The soul of a willow tree

He spoke to me.

He told me to reach for the stars

For eternity.

The soul of a willow tree

He told me I could reach my dreams,

But only if I believed.
