Chapter 6

Author Note: So I guess you could say that this chapter is way long over due. I just didn't like where I was going with this story. Changed my plot a little bit. Thanks for sticking here with me!

Demi's POV

Tonight, Brian and I are going to a New Years party with Nick and Savannah. But right now I am contemplating on whether I should wear a dress or a skirt or just go completely casual and wear jeans and tee. I hear foot steps on the stairs then Brian walks into my room.

"Oh hey babe" I say grinning as I hold outfit options to myself and look in the full sized mirror on my wall. He walks up behind me and spins me around to face him. I stretch up and kiss him. We break, and he whispers "Hi" with one last peck.

"You look great" he says, watching me in the mirror from my bed.

"I'm still wearing my pajamas....." I turn and squint at him.

"Regardless. You could pull off a garage bag"

Nick's POV

I don't really want to go to this party. This would be my first party since I moved to Charleston. I would much rather stay home with some friends and just watch the count down on tv.

I am definitely not one to drink at parties. I don't know why, but it just never really appealed to me I guess. So the idea of going with and celebrating with a bunch of drunk idiots does not have me excited.

I have already told Savannah that I do not intend to drink tonight. And that she could if she want. I am also the type of person not to tell someone they can't do something. So Savannah is getting a drive to my place around 7. And since I'm not drinking, I will driving her home later on tonight.

Demi's POV

"You're staying here after the party right?" I question as I walk back into my room. I decided to where a black lace dress and my black keds.

"Yeah, if you want." He replies

"I do" he makes me feel safe.

It's time now to head to Nick's since he will be driving tonight. We go downstairs and grab our coats and walk out the door.
