Rolland's POV

I slipped my dress on and my heals.. I mean, just because I'm pregnant doesn't mean I can't still look good.

And something tells me, today will be a good day. I'm going out to dinner with Chase and he has to ask me something.

I honestly don't know if he's going to say that he wants to stop talking or he's not ready for me and my baggage, and if so, I'm not ready for all of that. But, I trust him so, let's hope everything goes well.

Chase's POV

I'm at some fancy restaurant with Rolland. She looks beautiful, nervous but beautiful.

We've already finished our dinner and now waiting for dessert.

"Rolland?"

She smiled, "Yeah?"

"Will you please be my girlfriend?" I grabbed her hand over the table and held it. "I promise not to hurt you. I will treat you like a Queen, your daughter a Princess and I, your King. Can you except me into your life?"

I noticed her smile, frown and take her hand back from mine.

"I'd love to b-"

"But what?"

"I don't want to make your life harder than what it already is. I feel like I might be stopping you from carrying on a career, or something."

"Rolland. I promise you, you and your daughter cannot stop me from doing what I want. And I want you, please."

The waiter came with our dessert and she looked at hers and messed with it playfully.

"Do you mean, what you say?" She looked up and in that moment I knew she was serious.

There's some things I haven't told Rolland, but I'm so close to making her mine, and I'm definitely not going to ruin that chance.

"Don't lie to me, Chase."

I nodded. "Yes, I mean what I say."

She exhaled slowly and bite her lower lip shyly.

"I'll be your girlfriend."

Rolland's POV

I trust him, I'm just hoping our future will be good. I'm putting all my trust into him. And now, this day forward, I have a new life; with Chase.
