~Brendon's POV~
"Look at my little girlfriend cooking." Addilyn turned around with a contemptuous look on her face.
"You're little too."
I chuckle and engulf her in a hug, "Happy Thanksgiving babe."
"Happy Thanksgiving!" She pulled away and pecked me on the lips.
I put my hands on her shoulders and looked into her big beautiful eyes, "Remember everything's going to be okay. Please don't worry, love."
Addilyn smiled and put her hands on my shoulders, "I know. Please don't you worry my love. It's our first Thanksgiving together, so let's just be happy."
Once again, I pulled her into a hug, "I love you so so much."
"I love you too."
"So, how's the cooking going?"
"Good! I'm just finishing up on those mashed potatoes and then I'm officially done!"
"Damn, girl!"
Addy laughed, "You should go get ready unless you want to wear just boxers."
"Maybe I will," I said, walking upstairs to our bedroom. I opened up the closet and took out a plain white polo shirt and then I took out some black jeans from the dresser. There was a bow tie in the dresser, so I put it on cause why the hell not? As I tied up the laces on my shiny black dress shoes that I haven't worn in years, I heard footsteps. Once I stood up from the ground, Addy started aw'ing and walking towards me.
"Look at your little bow tie! It's so cute! God, it reminds me of the vices era....I might cry."
I laugh, "Go get ready, weirdo."
"Ever since we met..," Addilyn sang. I chuckled and went into the bathroom to fix up my damn hair, but nothing worked. Gel didn't work. All these strands just wanted to go their own way. I groaned out loud in frustration.
"What's wrong?"
"My hair is not working with me today."
Addilyn laughs, "It looks fine."
"No, it doesn't. All these fucking strands won't stay down."
"Hmm, hold on I know what to do." Addilyn opened the bathroom closet and took out a can of hairspray. "Where's your comb or whatever?" I handed my comb to her. She sprayed the hairspray onto my hair and then combed it back. "There!"
"Woah," I said, admiring my hair in the mirror.
"You can use it anytime you like."
"All this time I've been using gel, but I should've been using this!"
Addy patted my shoulder, "Okay loverboy, guests should be arriving soon."
"Right. Well, don't you look gorgeous." Addilyn wore a white cropped long sleeve shirt and a burgundy skirt with white polka dots. Also, she had on a gold necklace with a feather at the end with brown ankle high heel boots.
She blushed, "Oh, stop. Look at you Mr. Bow tie." Addy walked down downstairs and I followed. "Someone's here!" I saw her face go from awareness to happiness. As she opened the door, Dallon and Breezy appeared and the kids. "Dallon, Breezy!" Addilyn hugged them. "Amelie, Knox! Happy Thanksgiving you all!"
"Happy Thanksgiving," said the children with smiles on their face.
"Here I made some pumpkin pie."
