~Brendon's POV~

Christmas Eve. Such an exciting day, but only if you are a kid. It sucks being older, sometimes because now Christmas isn't really fun anymore. Addilyn was talking to me about all of this last night. She couldn't believe I stopped believing in Santa when I was six years old. Addilyn stopped believing when she was only ten. Speaking of Addy, she's currently still sound asleep in bed. I on the other hand am making coffee cause I love my coffee. "Hurry up coffee," I told my coffee maker, "I want my coffee."

"Talking to the coffee maker, eh?"

"Holy shit fucks! You scared me, A." She laughed, coming up to hug me softly. "Want some coffee?" I could feel her nodding up and down as she clung to me. I turned around in her hug to give her a kiss.

"Merry Christmas Eve," she said, almost in a whisper.

"Heh, you too." As I looked at her closely, Addilyn had bags under her eyes and her cheeks were flushed. I put the back of my hand against her forehead, "Are you feeling okay?"

"Yeah, just my throat hurts a bit." I opened up the medicine cabinet and got out some Tylenol. "Here, this should help." I handed her two little tablets along with the coffee I made her.

"Thank you." Addilyn put the tablets into her mouth and swallowed them with her coffee. "Do you still have that meeting today?"

"Yup, are you still getting your nails done with Breezy?" Addilyn eyes grew wide while almost spilling her coffee on herself.

"Shit, I forgot. I have to go get ready!"

A half hour later, Addy came down wearing a brown button down coat with jeans. She hurriedly gave me a kiss and a hug goodbye as she ran out the door. Now it was my turn to get ready. What to wear, what to wear? I decided on a white short sleeve button down shirt and black jeans with my my favorite black button down coat. Addilyn thinks I have a meeting with my manager, but ha-ha nope. I'm actually going to talk to her mom. Once I had everything I needed, I rushed out the door.

I arrived at Angelica's house and knocked on her door. "Hi Brendon! Come in, let me make you some cookies." Addilyn's mom is always so sweet. I can see where Addy gets it from.

"Hello Angelica! There's no need to make cookies, but thank you very much." She gave me a smile and sat on the couch, waiting for me to take a seat. "How have you been?"

"I've been very well, thank you. How about you and Addilyn?"

"I'm glad to hear that. Addilyn and I are doing amazing, thanks!"

She crossed her crossed and looked at me, "What did you come here to talk about?"

"I came here to talk about Addy." Angelica smiled and nodded her head for me to continue. I talked her about what happened at the party and how she was saying that how she gets nervous over everything.

"Well, Addilyn has always been like that. She would even get nervous if I took her to get her nails done or even her hair. Addilyn never liked being alone. I realized this whenever I dropped her off somewhere like the dentist she would always get so nervous. Addilyn would even be nervous to even stay home by herself. Now about the party situation... you know she's always been like this since she started dating you. Brendon you're everything to her, so don't even worry about it. She looked up to as a kid and even till this day. Your music has helped her whenever she was down in the dumps. Why was Addilyn even mentioning her as your wife anyway?"

"That's because Breezy has a big mouth."

Angelica looked at me confused, "Huh?"

"I didn't just come here to ask you for help with Addilyn." Angelica still sat with a confused look. "I came here to ask for your permission to marry your daughter."
