To be Expected

Chapter 1: The Revolt

My name is Alexandria Roselyn Volturi and I am the daughter of 2 of this world's strongest vampires. Isabella and Alec Voturi, my brother is Caden Ezra Volturi, my best friend is Chelsea Voulturi and I have no mate. Only two years ago I found out I had a half sister in America, this year I find out that my family is being targeted. A vampire has created thousands of newborns somehow unnoticed and now is coming to kills us. Tonight my mother drug us from our beds and ran us outside to the garden where our father stood with two horses. I was immediately alarmed,"Where are we going!"

My mother didn't answer at first, just looked at the ground, her dark crimson eyes brimming with bloody tears. "Mother please..."

She pulled our cloaks around us," I love you... Listen to me my children, you will ride until you reach the airport, then use the money in the saddle bags to fly to Washington. Get a car and go to the Cullens, once you get on the plane. Read the note in the bag. Say nothing to anyone, the note will explain."

Her newly acquired thick Italian accent was almost as strong as my own as she threw me onto my black stallion, and father helped Caden onto his own brown one. She kissed each of our cheeks and my dad came to me.

"I love you Alexis." Mom slapped Caden's horse and it took off, my dad moved to do the same.

I grabbed his arm,"Will you come for us?" My voice broke," If we survive."

I tightened my grip," Promise me you'll survive and come for us..."

He kissed my head, and pulled from my grip and just like that. My horse took off, I looked back," Promise me!"

Mother was cradled in his arms, crying harder than ever, blood covered them both from her tears. As they gripped each other tightly, my father met my eyes and I realized I may never see them again.
