Harry P.O.V. –

I was really confused to say the least. Why did I just kiss him? Granted he was saying things that no one has ever said to me before, but I guess… I guess it just felt right in the heat of the moment. Who was that blonde girl and why was Louis running after her like his life depended on it? Deciding to satisfy my curiosity, I chase after the direction Louis went. Stepping into the other hallway, I can hear arguing a few doors down. I know I shouldn’t listen, but I can’t help it.

“Oh my god MOM, you will never guess what I just saw!” a girl cried.

“Shut up, Lottie!” I heard Louis’s voice yell.

“Make me!” she sneered.

“Don’t tempt me!” he struck back.

“Children!” a woman’s voice cried in exasperation. “Now, Charlotte, what is going on? What did you see?”

“I saw Louis making out…” she paused for dramatic effect as my face quickly became red (even if they couldn’t see me), “with a boy!” The girl giggled uncontrollably as Louis protested.

“Well Lottie’s boyfriend is a junior!” he claimed in revenge. The girl Lottie, I presume, let out a cry of utter betrayal.

“Louis YOU PROMISED!” she shouted. I couldn’t help but chuckle to myself; she sort of deserved that one.

“Well you weren’t exactly good at keeping secrets either!”

“Just because you-”

“I can’t believe you-”

“LOUIS WILLIAM TOMLINSON AND CHARLOTTE ELIZABETH TOMLINSON STOP FIGHTING THIS INSTANCE!” Both Louis and Lottie were silent. “Charlotte, we will talk about this boyfriend at home but you owe your brother an apology.” I heard some murmuring as she apologized to Louis. “Now, I think you have some homework to do so I’ll take you home. Go wait in the car while I talk to your brother.” The shuffling of light feet told me Lottie had left the room.

“Louis,” his mom said gently. “Why didn’t you want Charlotte to tell me?”

“First of all, I was not making out with him. He just kissed me, okay?”

“But you let him? Have you kissed him before?”

“Yeah, I have,” he tells her.

“Louis, it’s okay. I’m not here to judge you. I’m your mother and I will love and support you no matter what. Especially when it comes to whom you love. Do you like this boy?” she asked him seriously with a hint of motherly love.

“Yeah, mum. I think I do actually,” I could hear certain warmth in his voice that told me he wasn’t lying.

“Does he have a name?” she asked impatiently.

“Of course he does. It’s Harry.”

“What a lovely name! Such a classic,” she sighed. “I have an idea! Why don’t you invite him over for dinner tomorrow night? I really want to meet him!”

“Yeah mum, alright. I want you to meet him too. And uh…mum?”

“Yes, Lou?”

“Thanks… for understanding. I just didn’t know how to tell you without… without making you disappointed,” he confessed. “Awe” sounded and I envisioned that they were probably hugging right now.

“Well Lottie has a bunch of homework, so I better go,” she told him. The sound of feet leaving told me now his mum was gone. It was safe for me to go in and talk to Louis now.
