Louis P.O.V. -

It was here. After months of stressing, cake tasting, décor shopping, and decision making, it was finally here. Harry and I were getting married today, married. My hands trembled violently as I struggle to tighten my tie.

"Here let me help you," a voice giggled and feminine hands found their way around my neck. Looking in the mirror, I saw Lottie fixing my tie. When she finished, she patted my chest and squeezed my shoulders before resting her head gently on the left one. "I can't believe you're getting married, Lou. Crazy how time flies, huh?"

"I hardly believe it myself. Sometimes I literally pinch my skin just to make sure I'm not still eighteen in a very lucid dream." Lottie smiled and I gave her a nervous grin back.

"You look so handsome. You're going to blow Harry's socks off, ya know?" she complimented.

"Thanks, Lottie, really for everything you've done. And I hope that one day I'll get to be here for you like this. Hopefully, it will be with Liam, I really like that kid." Lottie blushed like a pixie; she was as madly in love with Liam as I was with Harry. Anyone with eyes could see how much the pair cared for one another.

"No problem, and Louis," she hesitated. I raised an eyebrow signaling for her to go on. "Don't worry; I'm sure she'll show. She may not agree with some of your choices, but she loves you all the same. I don't think she would miss this day for all the money in the world."

A pang shot through my heart as Lottie tried to reassure me about my mother's appearance. She had failed to reply to the save-the-date or the millions of phone calls. I'll admit it hurt not to have my mother standing beside me, or to see her give a reassuring nod as the procession for Harry's grand entrance began. I've dealt with worse though; I can get through this.

"Louis, it's time!" Phoebe called as she rushed into the room. Her eyes were alive with wonder as she jumped up and down in her coral chiffon bridesmaid dress. She latched onto my hand as she dragged me towards the main doors to the church's sanctuary. The slow tempo of the band began to play as I latched my arm with Lottie's. The door was flung wide as we proceeded towards the Priest. Once we were in place, I glanced to my left. There stood my choir students made up of grade 9 to 12. It had been their idea to perform at the wedding, so naturally I'd agreed. We'd been rehearsing the song selections all summer. I was on edge as I realized it was about time for Harry to make his entrance. I took one more glance at the lead soloist, Hayle, who gave me the 'ready for launch' signal. It was almost time for Harry's arrival, and it was all I could do not to faint.

Harry P.O.V. -

Sweaty was definitely one word to describe me at the moment. Adjectives such as nervous, an absolute train-wreck, anxious, elated, and excited also worked splendidly. "I'm so proud of you, Harry." I looked over my shoulder to see my mum approaching with tears in her eyes.

"Oh Mum, don't cry it's a happy occasion," I comforted as I wrapped her in a tight hug.

"I'm just so happy for you. You've always had such a hard life with every obstacle that was thrown your way. Of course, you survived like you always had, but you never truly lived. Well, not until Louis came along, and that was when you learned to breathe with a passion and love like a lion. You never gave up, you fought for what you wanted, and you became determined to face your problems head-on instead of being content to deal with them. I've watched you grow up for the past twenty-two years, and I don't think there is a single mother out there who has ever been so happy to see the man her son has become. My baby, my only baby, they grow up so fast," she sobbed quietly into my chest.
