Chapter 2

Flashback
We stand there and after she's done crying we head back to the palace where all hell has broke loose.

Jacks POV
I stood there watching as the guardians scrambled around. I looked at (y/n) and she was just standing there.
"What the hell is happening?!?!" She yelled.
"Well let's see pitch has attacked tooth palace and so we gotta go," bunnymund explained,"like now."
She rolled her eyes and mumbled a whatever and stormed off in the direction north went in. I heard a sigh from bunny, I looked at him. He looked at me with sadness in his eyes.
"I messed up didn't I mate?" He asked me.
"Yea, you did, you basically told her that you don't like her at all and that she isn't good enough to be a guardian," I said.
"I didn't mean for it to sound like that, it just kind of came out that way," he explained.
"Well, now you have to fix it," I snapped at him.
He nodded and hopped off, I followed after him and we hopped on North's sled. I sat and after we were in the air; I pranked him into looking over the side of the sled then saying,"aww, you do care." That resulted in him saying," shove off you big show pony." I climbed back up and came over to sit by (y/n).
"Hey,you okay?" I gave her a worried look.
"Yea I'm fine," she replied,"just a bit hurt and... Well y'know."
"Its gonna be okay," I assured her wiping away a tear that fell from her eye.
"I know," she answered.
I gave her a look that asked 'are you sure' to which she nodded. I then hugged her and then we went to tooth palace. Where pitch had his nightmares making everything look like hell.
"Their taking the fairies!" I yelled out in a rush.
"Well let's get 'em then," (y/n) stated.
We both got a fairy and we landed. (Y/n) went to one corner I went to another. The guardians went to a whole different one not to far from me but a long way away from sunshine as bunny calls her. I heard her talking so I followed her voice as it turns out she was talking to pitch.
"Why?" She questioned pitch.
"Why what?" He shot back.
"Why are you taking the fairies?"
"Because it has to do with my plan to take over the world," he stated.
"You disgust me," she said rolling her eyes.
"Really? Well that's news to me tell me something (y/n) how would you like your memories back, better yet, how would you like to see Jack Frost killed," he questioned her coldly.
"You wouldn't dare hurt him," she snapped.
"Oh but wouldn't I you see I know your true fear the only thing I always know," he said nonchalant.
"And what is that?"
"Its to lose the only thing you've ever truly fell in love with in this world Jack, himself," he answered.
There was a moment of silence before her angelic voice sounded,"What do you want?"
"You know what I want and that's for you to come to my side together we can rule the world," he said.
"Why me? What happens if I say no?" She asked.
"Then I'll destroy the very thing you love and you because like you," he told her.
"Really? How long do I have to decide?" She asked.
"Till midnight find me at burgess in that little boys house what's his name Jonathan I think," he said.
"Do not touch him if you hurt him I'll make sure you never walk again," she threatened murderously.
"Just show up and I won't have to," he stated.
"Whatever I have until midnight," she stated.
Then he was gone and we fought and he disappeared. Before he left his words rang out 'and remember till midnight' then he was gone. I walked over to sunshine and gave a knowing look one that we all had seen at some point. She shook her head and looked away from me.
"(Y/n) I....I...," I trailed off.
"Jack please I need to tell you something and I need to get this out for I may not have another time to say it," she said.
"Shh.....I already know and you don't have to worry because I know how you feel," I assured her.
"I don't think you do," she tried to explain.
"I do I understand everything I get it now," I said.
"No you don't but okay I'm gonna.....I think I'm gonna go talk to bunny," she said sadly.
"Oh okay sunshine," I said shocked at her sudden words.
She walked off as I went to go talk to tooth.

(Y/n)'s POV
I walked away from jack with a sour face. I needed to talk to bunny before I went insane. I found him not long after by running into him.
"Bunny we need to talk," I stated monotonously.
"Alright but uh let me go first okay mate?" He asked.
"Okay I'm listening," I said.
"I just wanted to apologize for being a jerk and saying all those mean things to you and I just....I'm sorry," he confessed.
"I forgive you just promise not to do it again," I said.
"I promise," he answered.
"Okay now that, that is out of the way I can now talk to you about something serious,"I suggested.
"Okay what is it mate?"
"I'm in love with Jack and I tried to tell him but he wouldn't listen," I told him.
"Well just don't worry about it then," bunny reassured me.
"Bunny," I said quietly.
He had started ranting about how jack doesn't deserve me and all that jazz.
"Bunny," I said a little louder.
He kept going and going not ever hearing me over his own voice.
"Bunny," I said at normal level.
Still not hearing me I was now pissed by this point.
"Bunny!" I screamed.
I saw him physically jump about two feet off the ground. He looked at me.
"I'm leaving," I said quietly.
"I'm sorry what?" He questioned.
"I'm leaving," I said a bit louder,"I'm not coming back I just thought you should know I wrote this letter for jack would you give it to him when the time is right?" I asked.
He nodded as his ears dropped and his eyes became sad.
"Your the best friend a girl could ever ask for," I said.
I took out a globe and went to Burgess and seeing as it was about ten I decided to wait until a quarter till midnight then meet him. I kept myself busy in the woods until then.
