chapter 6

Jacks POV
I used the wind to get to pitch's lair where I knew he would be. I stood at the entrance and just stood I couldn't help but think, 'I have to save her she is my one and only true love I have to save her if I don't there's no use in living.' I went down into pitch's lair I came to the main part of it.
"Hey pitch," I yelled out.
No reply of course not surprising.
"Pitch!" I screamed.
"What do you want?" He asked still not showing his face.
"I want to know how to get (y/n) out of the coffin of darkness surrounding her," I stated like it was obvious which it was.
"Oh, that is that all you want?" He asked finally showing his face and sounding surprised.
"Why do you sound so surprised?" I squinted and asked hesitantly.
"Why?" He laughed," because even if the darkness was to come off from around her she'll never wake up."
"W-what do y-you m-mean?" I asked terrified by what he just told me.
"I mean that even if the darkness is destroyed she won't wake up she'll still be asleep forever," he said.
"I don't believe you!" I yelled.
"Here then see if I'm lying," he told me as he gave me two bottles.
"What are these for?" I asked.
"Well the dark one is for you and the light one is for the coffin. If you find she doesn't wake up you can use that when you find all hope is lost," he told me.
"Hope is never lost as long as she has people that care about her and for her she'll always have a chance!" I yelled and then I was off to Norths palace.
I may have made a couple of pit stops along the way one of them being her hut. I couldn't help it I had to it begged me too. I looked over her stuff a couple of times and I made sure all her stuff was in the correct place. I remember how she would always gripe at me because her stuff was in the wrong place.
*flashback because I want him to have a flashback*
"Jackson Overland!" She yelled at me.
I walked into the room casually, "yeah? " I asked.
"What have I told you about my books and things," she said with frustration.
"Um.... to put it back where I found it?" I question-answered.
"Exactly, now please put it back," she said.
"But (y/n)," I said exaggeratedly.
"Don't 'but (y/n)' me put it back and I'll ask and see if you can stay over and I'll cook you your favorite," she bribed.
"Awesome you're amazing how am I so lucky to have a best friend like you I love you so much," I said picking it up.
"That's what you say all the time," she laughed.
We laughed and that night I spent the whole night with (y/n) and as she promised she made me my favorite meal.
*end of flash back*

I miss those times where we were just kid's laughing having a good time not a care in the world. I wish we could go back to those times where I didn't have to worry about love. Where we didn't have to worry about breaking each others hearts. I let a few tears fall and then I got up and went to the Norths workshop.

*Time skip thingy right now*
When I got there I went straight to (y/n) because I had to see her first. I then went and told north what had happened with pitch.
"Let's call the guardians this is big news," north spoke to me.
"Alright let's do it," I said enthusiastically.
We waited about twenty to thirty minutes before they all got there. I was very impatient and I just wanted to get her out of that stupid coffin of darkness. I wanted to hold her, to feel her again. I wanted her to look at me with those beautiful (e/c) eyes, I wanted her to tell me she loved me. I just wanted more time with her that's all. I kind I f cried a little bit just waiting on them. When they got there, everyone was excited I didn't have my hopes high. We all gathered around her and I poured the ice colored liquid on top of it and it slowly dissipated and after all of it disappeared she slowly lowered to the ground. I was the first to make a move I walked over to her.
"(Y/n)?" I asked hoping she would wake up,"(y/n) baby can you hear me? Please wake up please."
I ended up grabbing her and crying my heart out pitch was right she didn't wake up. I picked her up and carried her to her hut I would look after her until I found a cure. I had north make me a guitar out of ice and since he has magical powers he made the strings work like a normal guitar and I was bound and determined to learn how to play guitar so I could sing her a song.

*One month later*
I had finally finished and I had moved (y/n) back to the palace so she would be safe while I was gone. I went to Norths palace after the sessions were over and I would tell her about my day and how much I loved and missed her I told her I hoped that she would wake up soon but she never did. After that I would go and search for a cure I would hit places that where known for curses and such. I never found anything but I did find something related to what (y/n) has been cursed with.
If I read the prophecy correctly then it's called a sleeping curse. It says ' the person who is under a sleeping curse can other come out if that person is in love and that person has to have a true loves kiss and also it must be real. If this does not happen before the sunsets on the anniversary of the day they met this person will never wake up.'
I reread this twelve times seemingly not comprehending what it was saying. It was saying that if I didn't kiss her then she was never going to wake up in about three days. I finally quit reading and processed it. Once I did I immediately went to Norths workshop and went to her and kissed her. I gave it twenty minutes it didn't work.
"Why the hell isn't it working?!?" I yelled.
North suddenly barged into the room ready to destroy something but when he saw me he changed immediately.
"What's wrong jack?" He asked his accent strong.
"Wellifoundthisplacewherethisoldwitchresidedandthosprophecysaidthatihadtokiss (y/n)inordertowakeherupbutitdidntwork," I rambled so fast I didn't think he had heard me but he heard bits and pieces. "Calm down now say it slower," he said.
I took a deep breath and told him again slower, "I found this prophecy in this cave where this old witch resided and it said that to get (y/n) to wake up all I had to do was kiss her and I did that but it didn't work."
"Is it supposed to be a true loves kiss?" He asked.
"Yes," I said.
"Well, that's why you didn't have the emotion, you didn't give it any feeling here I'll help you what is something you want to tell her or do for her?" He asked.
"Well I've been learning this song on the guitar and I really wanted to sing it when she was awake," I told him.
"Well here's what we do," he stated.
From there we planned on when I would sing the song and kiss her. I know it's going to be great.
