Frosted Fire (Jack Frost x Reader)

Chapter 4

(Y/n)'s POV
I woke up to people talking I tried to open my eyes but it didn't work. I heard a bunch of whispering, I opened my eyes and started shivering. Fuck, I was freezing I grabbed at air expecting to see a cover when I didn't find one I got annoyed and sat up nobody looked at me so I stood up and went out the window. I started flying and I didn't stop. I just flew...I couldn't be near jack knowing I had betrayed him. Knowing that I sided with his enemy. I can't face him; when I got to a spot I thought was far enough away I just broke down. I couldn't help it and after I just sat with my knees up to my chest and I just kept staring at my lap. Pretty soon I heard footsteps and I could only guess who it was. I didn't move or make a sound; I felt a hand and I heard that voice and I started to tear up knowing he would never love me. I would forever be alone no matter what.
"(Y/n)," he said as he broke me from my thoughts,"I don't know why you left but you did and for whatever reason that may be I will always be here for you."
I just moved my knees closer to my body, jack noticed this he also noticed that I was crying.
"What's wrong baby?" He asked obviously picking up on the modern slang.
I just shook my head and said,"everything."
Obviously confused he asked,"what do you mean?"
"Everything it's ruined, I betrayed you and the guardians, and to top it off..." I paused looked at him from watery eyes,"I love yo-"
I was cut off by his lips meeting mine I slowly closed my eyes and kissed him back. He pulled away and pulled me into his lap where I sitting like I was straddling him. He kept me close for a while far too soon it seemed we heard someone laugh.
"Oh, isn't that just so sweet," the voice said evilly I didn't have to see a face to know who it was.
"What do you want?" I questioned harshly.
"Who? Me? I just want to rule the world," he answered sinisterly.
"Well, what do you want with me?" I asked.
"Nothing now because I have something much better planned now jack you are going to get rejected by everyone even poor (y/n)," he stated.
Then he was gone what did he mean by that. What did he mean by I would reject jack I love him why would I reject him. The guardians then made the yeti come get us; we went back to the workshop and north filled us in on the whole Easter is coming up tomorrow and it's more important than Christmas and blah blah blah. All I did was get beside bunny and he tapped his foot I waved and I got confused then surprised looks. Bunny and I were after everyone else it was so much fun going to bunny's Warren. I spoke to bunny about what happened, why I left and all that jazz. When we got there he said welcome to the Warren and the paused listened and then everyone but me got ready for a fight. I stood there the next thing I hear and see is a little girl.
"Sophie?" Jack looked confused.
Bunny start to freak out and all I do is sit from afar and watch sophie. Jack makes a very good point and makes bunny stop having a stick up his ass and helps her. We go through all the places in the Warren and at the end sophie gets tired and goes to sleep. Jack volunteers to take her home soon everyone agrees and the last thing I told to jack was be careful. I kissed his cheek and he kissed my forehead and said planned on it. He was off I didn't see jack until the next morning.
*timeskip because I'm lazy*
When we saw jack again bunny was not believed in. Nobody but the rest of the gaurdians, jack and I saw him, he was heartbroken. I had never seen bunny act like that before baby tooth was gone and what jack had in his hand was what I didn't want to see at all.
"What is that?" Tooth and I asked in unison.
"Uh...i...um," was all he could say. Lots of hateful things were said toward him.
"What did he say?" I asked quietly.
"He said I wouldn't be greeted with open arms," he answered.
I didn't say anything and nobody else did either he flew away and I was sad. I was upset that he was with pitch but I was also upset because I hated pitch with a passion. I cried a little and then I decided to follow him I knew that if I didn't I might lose the thing I love most. I found him still flying I had caught up with him in a matter of minutes.
"Jack!" I screamed.
"..." No reply.
"Jack frost!" I screamed.
"....." again no reply.
"Jackson Overland Frost! stop," I yelled pissed my hands were on fire I was so angry.
"Why?!" He yelled back.
"I need you that's why!" I said frantically as we both floated to the ground.
"That's not a good enough answer," he said calmly.
"Because I love you," I said.
"Still not good enough," he replied.
"What will it take for you to see that out of everyone I'm here. Out of everyone I still came after you," I said getting softer and softer to hide the fact that I was on the verge of tears.
"(Y/n)...I," he started but I stopped him.
"You what, you're sorry? Well you know what I really don't want to hear it I tried to make you see that your not alone but you apparently don't care and you know what I apparently don't deserve you. I can't change your mind nor will I try to but I always thought life was too good to me and now I know why it's because I don't deserve you so I'm leaving goodbye Jack I'll always love you," I said and flew off.
I don't know what happened after I left him I was to upset to even turn around. I just know that I hit something and then everything went black.
