Frosted Fire (Jack Frost x Reader)

chapter 7

(Y/n)'s pov
    I feel like I'm floating but I know I'm not I'm sitting down. I open my eyes to the dark I am sitting in the dark with my knees up to my chest. I tried to use my fire but it didn't work.  'Why don't my powers work?' I questioned.
"(Y/n)," I heard,"(y/n) baby can you hear me? Please wake up please."
   I knew that voice I tried to call out, "Hello is someone there?"
   I heard crying I couldn't place where it was coming from or who it was. I don't remember much I remember telling someone I love them and being slapped and then remembering my childhood. I don't remember much after that but there is someone I need to remember I can feel it. I feel stuck in this darkness and I feel like I'm never getting out of here. I wonder if I died, somehow that would make more sense. I hope I'm not here for long.

Jack's pov
      North and I had been planning this for a whole day and we then proceeded to set everything in motion. I practiced while everyone else I got decorations ready. I just hope it's not to late for this. After everything was sat up and ready north walked up to me.
   "Are you ready for this Jack?" He asked worriedly.
"Yes, I've wanted to let her know this for a long time I just hope it works," I answered him.
    "Everything is set up and ready we will stay outside until you want us to come inside," he told me.
  I just nodded and walked to her room, today was the day I could feel it everything would be different. I went up to her and said,"This is for you I hope you like it."
    I sang from the heart and this is what I sang.

   I know this feeling won't go away (no...) till the day my life is through...this I promise you..this I promise you...' I sang this and started to cry a little because it hurt to not have her awake for this.

   Till the day my life is through this I promise you baby...  just close your eyes each loving day (each loving day).
I know this feeling won't go away. (No...) every word I say is true this I promise you... every word I say I'd true this I promise you, ohhh I promise you....' I finished by saying "I promise (y/n)."
   I sat down next to her and said," please work."
I then kissed her and we fit perfectly I stayed like that for about 5 seconds and then leaned back up. I sat there what felt like forever holding her hand waiting for her to wake up. After she didn't move I walked to the door fixing to tell everyone that it didn't work. I just slid to the ground and started crying.
"Why are you crying the jack I know never cries or at least not that loud," I heard a voice come from the bed.
   I turned very slowly I looked at the bed and there she was sitting up. It took me a minute to process that she was awake but as soon as it did I ran to her and hugged her basically squishing her.
  "Umm..Jack are you okay??" She asked as I was crying while hugging her.
"I'm just fine," I said sobbing.
   She just smiled and helped me to stop crying. I got the others and bunny was the only other one to cry and I had never seen him cry before. They all hugged her and she kind of looked at me with a 'please help me' look. I got the message.
   "Okay, everyone you can all come back tomorrow so now can you give me and (y/n) some alone time please?" I asked.
They all agreed and left, after everyone left I turned to her and smiled.
   "What's the smile for?" She asked.
"Well, it's for you of course," I answered honestly.
    "Why," she asked getting up out of bed and walking toward me.
"I think you know why," I stated.
     "Well, why don't you just enlighten me," she commented.
"Well, I don't know if you heard what I sang but I'll just sing to you how I feel," I told her.
    She nodded and stood leaning on the door while I got the guitar and sung her this I promise you to her again. She loved the song and after I asked her if she would be my girlfriend and she said yes and we kissed. The one thing that stopped my happiness was the one question she asked me.
  "Hey jack who were those people that came in here and hugged me."
"You don't remember?" I asked.
    "No why? Do I know them?" She asked fearful
"Those were your friends, they were the ones who helped me," I told her.
      "Well shit," she cursed.
"It'll be okay (y/n)," I tried to calm her down.
    "No its not," she sobbed.
I grabbed her and hugged her and she didn't hesitate to hug back and cry into my chest. She fell asleep crying and so I laid her down in the bed and went to tell the others. Well this is going to be harder than I thought.
