Rin's p.o.v
I sigh as I step on to the marble floor in a hallway "nice of you to lie to her" I here James voice say
"I didn't lie" I replied turning to face him with a straight face, he gives me a smirk and walks towards me
"So where did you hide her?" he asked
"somewhere that you won't find her" I replied and turned to walk away when he grabs my arm and rolls up my sleeve, revealing by demon scare (from when I first got my powers). I look down at it, why did he wanted to see it any way? "hmmm" he said then disappears. I shake my head and continue down the hall, I walk through the doors to the throne room and Xenophon was sitting there, I bow "rin, where is Maxine?" he asked
"Your daughter is at home" I replied
"She's eight teen tomorrow this means you will have to keep a closer eye on her. when her power come through she will be a huge target..." he states
"Sir Im sorry I must go" I cut him off and teleport back to my room, shit where is she?
"Max!" I yell. I open the door and hear glass shattering, I run to the living room to see it trashed, I see max begins to stand from the broke coffee table. I run to her and she pushes me away "nice timing" I hear James voice
"For fuck sake" I roll my eyes
"Rin I command you to kill the female standing before you" James smiles. I have to what? No way am I going to kill the devils fucking daughter I might as well fucking kill Xenophon or kill myself, I give James a death glare and I can feel max's eyes on me. I look over at her and she has cuts all over her "rin! You know that you can't disobey my orders" James laughs, I sigh and walk towards max.
Max's p.o.v
"Rin! You know you can't disobey my orders" James yells, what does he mean by that? I look over to rin and he is giving James a death glare, he then turn's and walk towards with me "rin?" I call his name and he doesn't answer me, I step back and step on glass I glance down then look back up and rin is standing right in front of me. I gasp and then he wraps his arms around me. there a light flow of wind, he steps away from me and we are in a hall way. I look at rin and he drops to the floor holding his side in pain "rin?" I take a step towards him
"Don't- come- any- closer" rin states his voice sounded a little dark, I stop and step back. Rin's breathing is slow and is heart beat is so fast, wait I can hear his heart beat that's kind of cool but that's gonna back fire later I can tell, I shake the thoughts from my head and focus back on rin. His heart beat begins to settle and he stands up "you okay?" I ask him but he just begins to walk off, I grab his arm and when faces me his eye's glow are somewhat red colour, like the when I first met rin. I let go of his arm and I follow him down the hall, through a huge black door. when we enter I see my father and continue to walk but rin disappears "Maxine" my father calls out and I turn to his direction, for some reason my tail that's around my waist and under my shirt tightens. I walk over to my father and he looks somewhat happy, I smile and he stands.
Rin's p.o.v
"Ahhh" I fall to the ground as I hold back my demon powers, I lift my body up and im on my knees I look up at the blue sky, the wind is cold and the snow beneath be is slow melting. My temperature is dropping and the pain is slowly going to, I sigh and sit down on the sparkling white snow "we was so close why did you save her!" James yells at me from behind. I sigh and stand up to face him but he punches me in the face knocking me back to the ground "you disobeyed my order's!" James yelled
"I couldn't let you kill her" I struggle to say, James then kicks me in the side and im laying on my side
"She meaningless to our plan!" James yelled
"Then why do we have to get rid of her?" I ask in pain
"because when I kill Xenophon she will be able to take over and now that she has her demon power she will be harder to kill if she does take over for her father!" James yells, I groan in pain as I get up from the snowy floor. James goes to kick me but I teleport back to the underworld "rin?" I hear max's voice. I turn to see max standing there with her father behind her, she walks over to me and I stand up "you okay?" she asked
"Of course" I replied and looked over at Xenophon
"im sorry about earlier" Xenophon nods his head and max turns to face him, he nods then walks off "see you tomorrow sweetie" he yells and soon disappears, max laughs and turns back to me
"Can I go home please in tired?" max asks, I nod and I grab her arm. We teleport to her bedroom, once I teleport us I let go and step away from her "rin is something wrong?" max asks, I shake my head
"I have to go I'll see you at school" I say
"Rin wait I..." I teleport to my bedroom, I sigh as I look around.
