Every time I bring a friend home, my mom talks to them privately.

They've all either tried to say in sign language (not very well) that it was getting hard to communicate, then left.

I've only wanted a friend to last at least a year.

That's never happened since I became deaf.

'What did my mom talk to you about?'

'Just saying that she knows it's hard being your friend, and being deaf and all, I just said its a lot easier than talking, she said that your tough, and that I don't have to be your friend when it gets difficult to talk. But it's easier in sign language.' He signed, waving his beautiful hands in the air.

I finally know what my mom had been talking about to all my friends, and why they've all left me.

I felt angry, angry towards my mother for taking all my friends away.

But I guess it's better to end a short friendship than a longer one.

At Least Nico knows what it's like to deaf.

Nico's quite handsome, he has black hair that hasn't been brushed, deep chocolate brown eyes I get lost in.

Sadly, I bet he's straight, like every other guy I've crushed on.
